I heard a while back that AOI would make it so that if you failed a synth, that you would only lose the items and keep the board. Is this true or was only a pipe dream? Ty in advance! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

No.

If you fail, you receive an item related to the ingredients of the failed synth, or unique and more fun than a Monomate. For instance, most failed S-Ranks give an Okiku Doll deco. There's also a Gnome statue that can (it appears) only be obtained through failed synth.

I like this system much more than the one we have. Failing something that took weeks to find only to get a common item was no fun.

Today I failed a Tenora single handgun. It required 9 Mot Ebon, among other things. It failed, and I got a Mot Walna.

Ah okay then, i guess that is better than nothing, and much better than the present system. so how much has the %'s gone up? Last question i promise >.>!

Not really sure, A-ranks went up a tiny bit, the most significant difference was that S-Ranks went up quite a bit, anything with monster parts went up a lot, and Room Decos are all 100% success now.

ive heard you can get 13*+ synth mats from failing S ranks.

I believe so. I've seen screens of Terseline, Uranseline and Chronoseline, but I don't recall if they were received through normal drops or failed syntheses.

If that's the case, does it mean that if I fail a Svaltus Sword synth offline in AOI, I won't get to keep the kubara wood?

Dunno, it varies from S-Rank to S-Rank.

Kubara Wood is no longer uberhax rare, it drops in almost any box now.

Thanks, I am happy to hear that. It took me over 35 hours to get a single piece of kubara wood for the extra mode, when I needed 10+ or so...

They drop in the new AoI areas in the upper levels. There's a couple new rare stones dropping too that are 13*.
