AotI: Elemental SKILLS?

I have been looking for images, videos and discussions of PSU: AoI and i haven't found an awnswer to one of the first questions i've been wondering, I saw different colored photons arts
EX: purple tornado break(normally blue), green renkai buyuu-zan/blue renkai buyuu-zan(normally yellow/green) etc. Why? does the color change depending on the weapon's element? can you chose you learn elemental varions of the PA? does it randomly change colors after certain lvls?

It has nothing to do with element. Rather, it merely denotes the level of the PA skill being used.

1-10 = green
11-20 = bule
21-30 = purple
31-40 = red

I may be slightly off on the exact colors.
