How rare are 50% weapons?

Hi i have been making weapons for a while now only C and a few B so far, but last night out of 9 i made i got 2 50% weapons one 50% and one 50% all the silly 12-28%. i was wondering now i have made a 50% will they become more common and do you think that when i get to make A level ones this will happen too or is it harder to make A @ 50%?

also what is the highest % you can make?

50% is the highest, and it's pretty rare.

well the chance decrease when u go up in rank c being the easiest to get a 50 percent wep so the higher the rank the lower the chances. Some ppl on this forum have gone thru hundreds of A ranks to just get one 50percent so eh its up to u and if u got the money u can always hack... lol no need for 50 percent weps just spam PA's with inf pp lol its wat i do lol

Photon arts, and it is quite possible to get a 50% on even S ranks, but you have to be lucky.

The chances don't decrease but the money you spend making them increases, so you have less opportunities for the same price

I've made 3 C rank 50% (one weapon and 2 armors) 1 B rank and 1 A rank. I've made LOTS of C rank weapons and armors, and I've made like 20 A rank weapons

Most 50% A ranks you'll see on the PC/PS2 servers are due to the ol' haxeta days. However, supposedly there's a higher rate of 38%+ in AoI on melee weps being more common.

Go sit by the current hot spot and check everybody above level 60. Surprisingly, 50%'s are not as rare as people claim it to be.

Yes, when you do A ranks you will see your chances of 50% go down drastically. To give you a rough idea, in the last few days I have synthed 11 batches of 31 caliburns, and from that I have got 4x 38%, 1x 44%, 0x 50%. While some other times i can pull 2x50% out of 1 batch but on average it's only about a 1% chance

I made a 50% fire gigaline..i still use ofcourse because its awesome and i made my first 50% A rank...50% light bone dance and i traded it for crea doubles http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif. But soon enough we may hear of more legit A or S rank 50% seeing as 1up is comming. But also there isnt any hacked 50% i dont think anyways..sega removed all them.

I made one 50% lightning Stelliline, and it is overpowered for a 3* armor. Vahras at lv100 hit me for half the damage they normally do.

%'s won't really be as good since their strength is getting nerfed eventually. Enjoy your 50%'s while you can.

I was so amazed by this post, I just had to do the meseta calculation. Now, 11 batches of 31 caliburns would mean 93 caliburn boards, all with one synth attempt left over. Thats an odd number, so let's instead assume the poster synthed 11 batches and ended up with 31 caliburns. With a synth rate of around 50%, let's assume 66 total attempts were made, and 6 boards were used.

board cost: 165x6 = 990k (not bad so far)
photon cost: lets assume it's free
vulcaline: 8kx6x66 = 3.168million
stelnium: 2.5kx3x66 = 495k
par ebon: 4kx9x966 = 2.376 million

Total cost: 7 million, 29 thousand.

that in itself is pretty staggering (7 million is a pipe dream for many), but what shakes my tree is that he's done this a few times!

Of course I apologize in advance, if the original poster made a typo and is, in fact, sything 11 total or something like that. 11 caliburns is totally doable - you could fine that mats.

They'll be getting adjusted yes but they'll still be the strongest weapons out there. If the "just attacks" work as well as I hear they do I doubt we'll a signifigant drop in damage from 50% weapons.

That said I've made 3 50% items over the course of my PSU career. All light for some odd reason. A megaline, gigush, and an alseva falsan.

50% gets you about 9,000,000; depending on what the 50% is of, of course. I expect the price to go down once AoI makes them more common and reduces the benefit of them.

AoI makes 50% rarer, actually. They just shifted the average result from 14-16ish up to 26. Now you're much less likely to get a 10%, much more likely to get something in the 20s or 30s, but 50%s are even rarer than before.

Well, I'm trying to get some(more) 44%+'s for the cup and have so far spent nearly 10mil and the highest I have had is a 38% wep and a 34% armour.

I'm due to take out another mbatch of 18 9* weps in a second, first btch was the morning and made 24. Not one higher than 20%, did not make 1 of * Kubara's..... I tend to have a lot of low % melee weps up for sale....

I found I always made 50%'s when I least needed/wanted or expected them and could kicjk myself for selling ones like the light Caliburn or the Ice axe.... how stupid I was, On the other hand I still have what is to my knowledge the only 50% electric Ganna Line on my platform. Yes it is tough to make a 50%, very tough and I hope it stays that that and I hope they keep their 'special' status on AoI. I'd take a 9* 50% over a low S rank anyday.

Thats sweet.... cojonies ehh... I got a 50% to 3 and thats as far as its gonna get till AoI. I got a Sodoc to 7@24% ground

Just took out the batch and the highest was a 26% Mungrik then a couple of 20%'s. The rest was rarbage and blew it up while grinding. Got one a heavy twins upto 7 coz the element was only 14%.

Maybe better luck tommorow. Maybe if I feed the PM more Gourmet Cakes;)
