not that it really matters, given that AoI fixes it...

3* luck:
I brought three C rank wands to the upgrade shop. They were at +8. I used a C+10 to upgrade them to +9. There was a 'high' chance.

2 of them failed.

having 1 left, I tried to go for +10. failed. 25k in materials to get the C+10s, and god knows how many wands I went through to get three +8 wands.

but oh, no, I wasn't finished. I brought 4 C ranks pistols to the upgrade shop. I wanted to get them to +7. All of them broke.

not a big monetary loss, but VERY annoying.

WTF does 'high' chance mean if you keep failing?

LUCK, as in you need to be lucky to work it out. It's all a gamble.

Fifty-fifty = 40% to 59% success
High = 60% to 79% success
Very High = 80% to 99% success

You're high chance was liekly in the 60s for %. Also, never expect to get to +7 out of four guns, expect to get to +5

don't forget that grinding also carries the odds of each successive grind. each individual grind may have "high" chances, but the odds of making it to +10 are extremely low. so in this case the unknown grinders used to get the wands to +8 are a factor in why they could have asploded. they could have used nothing but +4's the entire way so the odds of of even 1 in three of them making it to (10) would be extremely low.

grinding is horribly broken and tends to defy odds. i was grinding light nafli-zashis. i had 25 of them in total and all but five were over 20%, and only one of the twenty-five was 10%. guess which one is the only one that made it to (10)? Yeah, the 10% that i tried to break while i had used nothing but C+5-10's and above for everything else.

Rule 1. Don't grind ever.
Rule 2. Don't grind above +4
