Hard Difficulty

Is there a level requirement for hard difficulty on episode 1? I am level 18 and have beaten it on easy but it wont let me play hard setting...thanks in advance

You need to be lvl 20 to play hard mode online, lvl 40 to play vhard online, and lvl 80 to play Ult online.

I thought it was 60 for ult..not 80, could be wrong though, nvr tried ult.

This also applies to multi, I think. Because I wasin hard mode and my friend was not. Yet, he was over level 20 and we could both venture into Hard mode. Then my brother who is not in hard mode, and was below level 20 couldn't get into hard mode with me ntil he had surpassed level 20. If fourty is the v. hard requirement, well, it looks like I'd better own DF soon if I want my friend and I to go through v.hard and get me my Psychoguns!

Not sure about online, but offline the requirements are definately 20 for hard, 40 for very hard and 80 for ultimate.

Also, these offline level requirements are ONLY for multiplayer, you still must beat normal to be able to do hard in single player.

An example would be that my level 41 RAmar can do Very Hard mode in multiplayer offline, but only Normal mode in single player as I never bothered to beat Normal mode with him.
