EVENT TYPE: Scavenger Hunt
TEAM SIZE: 1
PRIZES:
1st: 1,500,000 meseta
2nd: 1,000,000 meseta
3rd: 750,000 meseta
HOW IT WORKS: This is a free for all scavenger hunt. Players will race to find 12 different items available during the Cup with new items being added to the initial list of 4 items each week. Once you have completed the list you will need to get in touch with Midicronica via Gamertag (Konaj1nx) or in game. You WILL need to hold onto the items for a final verification at the end of the event, so don't go losing them! If we do not have 3 players complete the list, the players with the highest number of items from the list will win.

In the event of a tie we will have a sudden death scavenger hunt to find a random, easy to acquire item. The first player to bring it to the judge will win.

Considering how slowly I level up, yeah I'd probably just end up mingling with everybody. And that would be rather awkward. In fact, I'm like level 15, but I've been playing since launch. But that's more due to not playing with anyone and getting bored.

The 1up cup exp boost is tempting though.

All right. I've been sick the past few days, and planning anything wasn't on the top of my list of things to do...but I know you guys have been waiting for details concerning this contest we've been talking about. So here they are:

The basic form of the contest is going to be that of a scavenger hunt. Focused on some hard to find and Cup-only (for now anyway) items. Some available right away, and others not until the final weeks of the event. This will be every man/woman for him/herself!

The winners will be the first 3 players to find all the specified items, or the 3 players with the greatest number of items collected by the end of the event. If you do find all of the specified items, you will need to get in touch with Midicronica as soon as possible so he can verify when you completed the list.

Which items we will be looking for will be announced first at each of the get-togethers so those in attendance will have a small head start. Just one more reason to get out there! They will be announced a few hours later in the first post.

As far as prizes go, in addition of course to the items that you find, the first place winner will receive 1 million meseta. Second place nets 750,000 meseta, and third place is worth 500,000 meseta.

As a side note to those of you who asked for friend requests. As you can see, I've been a bit under the weather of late and will try to send those out asap, but in the meantime, feel free to send one to me instead and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
