This looks awkward next to the thread where the last reply was sord saying "burn them all!"

They must have heard him from here.

They run the tornado warning siren first Wednesday of the month at about 1-2PM. Some asshole forgot to run it Wednesday and decided to run it on the following Thursday morning at 6AM.

I found that comment highly amusing, heh.

anyways, yeah, drils are a pain. My home school though, the first few weeks of school it's a drill nearly every other day. Sometimes two types of drills in one day. The state requires the school to do so many drills, and my home school prefers to do them all within the first month of school.

Though that doesn't compare to a bomb threat made my Sophmore year, we had to stand outside for over 2 hours in summer heat (early in the school year.) God that was awful. Then the following year (which was also last year) we had yet another one after that Virgina Tech incident, that kept us out for about 1 1/2 hours. Both false.

Hehe. I remember having to go out 2 times in one day IN THE WINTER for a fire drill because the princible wanted to make sure we were "prepared". God she was a bitch.

Once had a fire drill at my high school where afterwards the alarm malfunctioned and for the next 20 minutes it would go off periodically

I called that a buncha of people continuing to pull the fire alarm, since that's what happened at my HS back then.

In 8th grade the fire alarm went off just seconds after the final bell of the day rang. Turns out it wasn't a drill, the stove in Home Ec. went ape shit and lit a kid's clothes on fire.

When I was in 3rd grade, In my gigantic rich kid school, someone in 10th grade or so mixed chemicals in the science lab that caught something on fire.
