Is there any way possible that you can achieve turbo without a controller or joystick?

This question was asked earlier, but all the responses gave no clear answers. I'd like to know, please.

Or, you can download a Macro...

Also, Kion, your Signature is gorgeous.

Aren't macros a bannable offense? They are in every other MMORPG...

It's only illegal if you get caught.

Besides, how on earth is someone going to tell the difference from YOU pressing a buttion over and over and a computer program pressing it over and over?

And if Macros are bannable, shouldn't autofire be?

Kion, that was the first thing that popped in my head. Too bad I don't have one.

Macro? Nyreal, can you post (if legal) or PM me a link? Thanks.

Kion's sig actually confuses me. I see a face, then a... Something... To its left. I guess I'm just bad at visual analysis?

As well as turbo controlers?

There is a HUGE difference between a macro program and an autofire program because the scope of a macro program isn't limited to pressing one key over and over, and an autofire program isn't automatic, it must be triggered by the user each time it's used (yes, you can tape down a key or whatever, but it's still user action, you couldn't normally just walk away from it untouched and have it perform).

Sega can detect third party programs on your computer, though it's unlikely they would check without cause, but if they do happen to find you using them you're probably SoL.

An example of how you can use a macro program besides autofire is making armor PM food. You could easily set up a macro to create a character, remove their parts, throw them in storage, log off, and repeat - record this once, set it on repeat, and go AFK until the box fills up. You can do this with any PM food actually, the armor one is just more popular.

Another use of the macro program is to go to a mission with a recharge station, spamming techs until the bar is full, then have your character recharge, and repeat. If you make a group for this and you forget to put a password on it and someone walks in and sees you moving around but you're not talking and follow the exact same pattern of movements over and over, they can report you under suspicion that you're cheating, and with the number of people on this forum arguing about the evils of leveling techs without doing the work, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened. If for some reason a Sega GM decided to check in on a closed party that's been going on for hours and sees the same thing, they have the right to take action.

Now Sega might not give a rats behind about any of this, but like I said, other MMORPGs do. Especially WoW with all of those gold farmers out there with their little programs and such. The comparison between autofire and macros are not that far fetched, at least in terms of turbo, so again, maybe Sega really doesn't care. But use it at your own risk. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

I don't think this is the actual issue about using macro/auto-fire programs for PM food, but.. There is a limit to how much one can hold in the inventory and when it runs out, the character must go buy more items to feed. If the player is away from the game, I don't see how auto-fire will benefit the gameplay. However, I have to admit that it is very time consuming to be running around, buying stuff and feeding the PM, especially that only one item can be fed at a time.
