I saw the Rappies, then BOOM! Booted.

I was just playing online with two other guys and we walked into a room on one of the missions. To my surprise, Rappies appear, and we all proceed to maim them. I pick up two feathers. As I cheer at this obvious surprise, I find myself back in the lobby. Did I get booted because I picked up a couple feathers, or is there more to it?

One, they could have been greedy in general, although you would have been lucky in that case to get even one feather.

Two, how many Rappies spawned and how many feathers dropped? You took 2 of them in a 3-person group, so unless 4 Rappies spawned and 4 feathers dropped, it means you were greedy as well.

There were 54 or 5 I thought. I'd have been happy to share, since I'm just that way, but I understand it now if the party leader thought I was being greedy.....

I guess what i"m asking is, does one sighting of rappies in a map determine whether more rare stuff is going to show up later in the map?

If it was on Give Finder and its an open party, its fair game. Its nice to share, but not required unless stated in the party. Make and Join Parties accordingly.

Also, I believe the leader could have been mad because the Rappy Feathers can be used for 1up.

I'm going to say no. Certainly more rappies are not going to appear, and the rare drop rate is already so low that if a rare did happen to fall from the boss it would be more like pure coincidence.

What mission was it? I know of no mission where a rare spawn of more than 4 rappies appear. Even then, it's not usual that all 4 will drop feathers(it KEEPS happeing to me though.... I'll never get that stupid unit).... some drop money, some drop nothing. How many feathers dropped. If only two feathers did then your were being gredy. I can understand it since rappy feathers are at a premium with the cup event.

It was one of the first ones, either unsafe passage or the food one after it. Can't remember exactly.

In only one variation of Fight for Food do 4 rappies spawn... in all of the others it's only 2, so if you're sure you saw at least 3 then you're more safe than before, but only if the other two also dropped feathers. It also might depend on what level you were compared to them - if you were the lowest they might have had their superiority complex kick in and decided to kick you out.

In the second one I believe four rappies turn up in ONE of the maps.

I know this as this is were I got my one and only Serafi feather a (long)while back.

I dunno. Maybe you took the feathers. Though if I ever boot someone for being greedy(and I never do as I only party with firends) then they will know EXACTLTY why there being booted. I guess if it was on finder and you picked em up thn they... maybe you should have shared but then again they should have put on random or in order if they were that worried.

I would really not worry about it. No biggee. Genrally the convention when somene grabs nice rares on yout game is to say cgz to the reciever whille shouting obscentitys and punting small animals out the window.....http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif I hardly would loose sleep over a few rappy feathers. Even though there currency in the cup for items, there easy to get as well. As I say, no biggee.

If they got mad because you picked up both, then maybe they shouldn't have played on give finder. No one should play a mode they can't handle.
