And be honest, and I mean canceled forever.

Vote while you can. Since its pretty much updated on the official site, may as well.

but I'm not that emo enough to quit -.-

Agnostic187
Oct 16, 2007, 01:04 AM
Because quitting a video game makes you "emo" now. Enough children. Enough of the overuse of the most annoying word ever. -_- Ever.

(And that wasn't mean to flame you, its just that word makes you want to eat a pepperoni with sushi)

Well people don't really like these type of threads, even if they're made with good intentions. It's like Sega goes does something and all of a sudden IMMA QUIT BAAAAAAW MUST MAKE THREAD

I totally would! /wrist

But really, I'd be disappointed only because they said we're getting it
then took it away, losing the event itself wouldn't matter much, I'd just
be unhappy they lied.

There is plenty for me to do. I still have Shock bullets to LV up, LV Megistar, 2 Debuffs just 4 more LV, LV Giresta on 2 Characters, 2 Different Axe PA's and new Saber PA

-Tidus_415-
Oct 16, 2007, 01:42 AM
Yup. Im using my Alt to level up PA's that my Main doesnt have room for. (Techniques and Rifle Bullets) Then when AoI comes I can just take all my alt's PA's and transfer them to my main. My alt will probably never be used again after that >_>

It's going to happen and it's going to happen in about 96 hours from now. I dont think Sega would dare do such a thing.

Nothing on Earth can prevent that.

End off!

IMO the use of the 'word' emo should be banned under pain of death

Oct 16, 2007, 06:46 AM
um, no.

its already cheapening our economy (Halarods are effin 4.3mil now - used to be 7.5! and we havent even GOTTEN TO THE CUP YET)

im for this - but im still against it.

only thing that can piss me off at this point is Aoti pushback.

I'd quit just because it'd basically be a "We don't care about our over seas playerbase." slap in the face. I'd feel pretty insulted that they didn't want to put forth the effort to make the event work, and would take that as a sign of things to come.

If they cancelled 7up Cup at the last second, I'd simply laugh my ass off at the subsequent BAAAAAAAAAAWWWWing. Then I'd go back to doing what I have been doing: waiting for the awesomeness that is AoI.

Not really. I still got stuff to do before AoI, but I have enough confidence in SoA to not quit such an important event. If they DO pull through with the event, then I'll be thoroughly convinced that they have learned their lessons from the shitstain that was PSOBB US (do you know PSOBB JP players are STILL getting new content?!)

I'd extend my break, which would be until the expansion. That really has little to do with the Cup, too, so that's not it. I'm just a little burned out on PSU for the time being, and I need something to hold my attention. Then again, I'd like the cap before the expansion comes out...

I would probably quit 'til the expansion. Even though I never really cared about not getting the Cup before, now that I know it was coming, I just realized how starved for S ranks and units I really was. I have no interest in going another year in this game without a Me/Quick.

The old v1 missions, minus area drop sranks, don't have the increased drop rates. So the 1up cup will be the best way to get a lot of the 10*s.

I"m just waiting for those of us on the 360 to be hit with a Death Penalty update like delay to 1up. Which would just make me cry and for all rights and purposes it might have been what was delaying the event to begin with.

I wouldnt' quit if we don't receive the 1up cup; though I'd be disappointed as I was looking towards that event to be the ultimate catch up in terms of levelling my cast up to the current level cap.

Ok, let me throw out an example. What if I started a topic called, "Would you be sad for Agnostic187 if Sega banned him for hacking?" Even though I have no evidence to suggest you were hacking, the way I phrased the question would smear your name and hurt your friends by suggesting that the issue is true just because it was brought up. Your topic does the same to Sega and those looking forward to the event. It's a commonly used political tactic designed to drum up fear and confuse the people being polled.

So yeah, it is your fault.

I wouldn't quit, because before they had announced the 1up cup I was like a few people and had given up hope on any form of Famitsu cup coming around. But that did not make me want to quit, after all I didn't start playing for these events, I started playing because I like the game.

I wouldn't quit if they canceled the 1up Cup. However, I would quit if they were to cancel the NA release of AotI. The expansion is the reason I decided continue playing PSU.

Actually nope, since I didn't hack and people would ask "What are you talking about." and seeing as if it was in the same context as a complete "What if" it would fizzle and die into the obligatory abyss.

our lack of S ranks was nerve racking and not doing school stuff or work stuff to find one was getting ridiculous!
