Just out of curiosity, Who's Switching Classes? And who's staying as is?

In Aoi I mean of course

Switching to AT, but I'll give WT a fair shake too.

I'm staying a WT since AT doesnt fit the way i want to play my main, however my alt is going to be an AT.

With level 20 support techs and 30 attack tecks and three S-ranks (twin/dagger, wand)

AT 116 106 150 138 110 220 190 100
||||HP ATP ATA TP DFP EVP MST STA

With level 40 support techs and 30 attack techs and seven S-ranks (sabers, daggers, whips, handguns, cards, wands, madoogs)

//EDIT: I swear I'll get it right eventually.

Staying WT. I will be switching out my subjob to AF though; it's FG at the moment.

staying WT

Depends on what's being done and who's in the party. FF is my main class, and if there's absolutely no one to heal the party, I switch to WT for some HUmar-ing.

Keiko_Seisha
Oct 16, 2007, 06:53 AM
Acrotecher for me. Though, I threw away my Wartecher title long ago for Guntecher, I'm just WT again right now to level it back up on my new main.

My female Newman is going Acrotecher, but too bad Newmans don't get bonus stats for Acrotecher.

Is it Humans which receive the race bonus for being the Acro classes?

The JP PSU wiki doesn't have that info yet. And since newmans are suppoed to get all teching classes, it seems unlikely that they wouldn't get AT.

//EDIT: Alkaid, humans get a +5% bonus to AF. AT is not yet known.

WT http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Well currently FT to lv up my spells. Come AOI, though, FT will be my second class (Finall I have all high FT only armor set, so I have to use it).

Reipard
Oct 16, 2007, 08:44 AM
Personally, I think they should bump that bonus up to 15% and give AF and AT to newmans. But that is beside the point; my WT will be staying a Wartecher, despite that he's primarily fists and claws and WT gets S-ranks in neither XP.

Kinako78
Oct 16, 2007, 08:56 AM
Staying WT, though I may decide to level AT as a second class once I max WT.

I'll probably stay WT for a while.

Staying WT all the way, I thought AT only got A rank wands... which was our saving grace in the attack tech area.

Nice to see so many ppl loyal to WT.
I'll stick with WT for the time being, but I'm eying that sexy AF =/

CelestialBlade
Oct 16, 2007, 01:44 PM
My Beast alt will remain WT until that lack of S-rank thing begins to really kill the class in comparison with others. Then I might hop between FG and AF or something.

Sinue_v2
Oct 16, 2007, 02:33 PM
AT doesn't get Fist/Claw weapons, and I don't want lvl 40 support, so I could give a damn about AT.

I'm [ kind of ] a WT, and I'm going to make it my absolute main class in AoI as far as I know.

pokefiend
Oct 16, 2007, 03:02 PM
Why only one class?

Following Aoi my Abby will be invested into Acrofighter, Acrotecher, Fortetecher, Guntecher, and Wartecher. However since it's likely I'll continue to love Wartecher as I do now (probably even more) I voted for Wartecher >:)

omegapirate2k

I'm staying wartecher, might dabble in acrotecher a bit, but wartecher will still be my alts main class.

I'm going *back* to WT in AoI (currently fT). As a fT you can really learn to appreciate WT's high HP. xD

SolomonGrundy
Oct 16, 2007, 04:08 PM
I'll go AT, most likely, once WT is maxed. I enjoy being able to provide support, and like techs as my main source of damage, without begin fT fragile.

If I decide to spend a lot of time soloing, perhaps I'll switch back to WT.

Kismet
Oct 16, 2007, 05:57 PM
Well I'll never "stop being a WT" altogether. I'll be liking my main character's alternations between WT, FG, and AT but WT will always be my "specialty".

Dragwind
Oct 16, 2007, 06:39 PM
I'll still be playing as WT, but of course I'm definitely going to be playing AT and AF as well.

Dhylec
Oct 16, 2007, 06:45 PM
I'm staying as hybrid.
Seriously, I have no real preference. If ST allowed more PA's, I might play as all classes & save the trouble of zipping up current PAs. ;D

Due to a large variety of similar genre video games, I don't intend to play online for PSU/AOI anytime soon, but if I do ever play the game, I plan on playing as a wartecher, because WT has a wide range of melee skills, as well as support technics, such as resta and giresta, etc..

AOI beta. If you want to go on that, then ATs get level 50 techs too.

Hence why the PSU JP Wiki does not say yet. Until it has been confirmed, I'm not propagating it.

AT. Supporting was a big part of Wartecher for me, and AT only makes it better and easier. my Alternate class will probably be Fighgunner. So i'm completly dropping Wartecher.

Nyreal
Oct 17, 2007, 12:44 AM
I'll be a Wartecher when I solo, and I'll probably switch to Acrofighter whenever I'm going into a party. So I'll dual-class.

I'm a little disappointed that WT get 20 support (while GT get 30 and AT get 40), but I'll stick with it, she might try AT for a while.

That sounds like something I'd do, but considering I'm hardly ever solo-ing, I don't play my WT class often unless my party is Techer-less.

Well let's shift things up a bit, becasue I don't feel like making a new topic. Why are so many people leaving the Wartecher class?

Yes, and that's more than enough reason, as far as I'm concerned.

I also pretty much hate playing WT lately, so hopefully AT can be a class I can enjoy.

S rank Wands? I'm not complaining.

CelestialBlade
Oct 18, 2007, 07:24 AM
People may be leaving WT because....

1) They're turned off by being left behind in the Support department (not that lv. 20 buffs are much to complain about)
2) Lack of S-ranks (which I personally fear will obsolete the class later on)
3) Wanting to try something new with the Acro- classes
4) Pants

I am staying for the overpowered 30lv & SE whips http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif And I prefer wands more than rods. As a FT right now, I am using wands rather than rods because quickness. For me, rod is good for dam spells & less space buffing. I can live with less power for more speed http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Personally, I'm looking more forward to the whole lvl 30 cap on the skills. I wish they would've given us the lvl 30 support, rather than the lvl 30 offensive, but that's just me considering I'd rather heal/buff than nuke.
