I also live in Australia, maintenance will begin around 2pm AEST and could end between 3pm and 6pm. If you're eager to get on asap, leave a PC broswer open at phantasystaruniverse.com, on the page where it shows whether the servers are up or not. I'll be busy looking at the "new webpage" they are making for this event for more info like maybe they'll explain why they lumped 2 missions together. (I wouldn't care but they are both missions I would have loved to have a full week per each on now I might have to do one now and wait until november for the other
