I was reading the status condition guide, and it said that Short only works on Androids, but I don't think that it's true, when I was using my FOmar at the spaceship, a Chaos Scorceror used a lightning attack on me (I think it was Gizonde) and I got what I think was the Short status effect, it had the same symbol, and wore off fairly quickly.

Yeah, in the GC version you can get shocked. Which is especially annoying once you get to Vol Opt.

wow vol opt pissed the hell outta me when i first started GC
