That pic i did with the teeth breasts and the eye crotch caused alot of discussion about how an artist can portray "complete disgust" while actually having skill.

(Sure anyone can scribble a piece of turd but it shows no skill.)

But take something from a far looking like a very happy picture, to bring it up close the distaste of their face looking at it was the most amusing thing in my life. XDDDD

When close to one of the females in your class, Try to draw and say

"Damn it!!! *throw pencil down* I cannot finish my creation! If only I had a gorgeous subject to work upon!!". *look at them* You... You look perfect! May you model for me? *whisper* "Preferably nude".

When they say no say this:" My life, Tis ruined! *look down*
*Mumble* "All I had was the idea of to work upon a perfection such as yours... But no.. I must suffer the slings and arorws of outrageous fortune.. to die... to sleep.. no more."

Female replies: O *Insert name* I never knew you liked me so much *blushes*

You: O but I do * cheerfull face* I loved you since the first moment I layed eyes upon your beautiful graces.

Female: Really? *wide eyed*

You: Yes.

Female: Oh *INSERT NAME*

You: *INSERT FEMALES NAME* I will never forget you.

Female: But... but...

You: *ride off into the sunset on a carrot*

what exaclty is a "print" in this case?

Sayara

An image that is created by using a Printing Press.

This means taking a metal plate and etching in areas to be burned into acid. So that Ink will sit in the cracks.

Its not disgusting but it is kinda macabre. It'd make a bitchin back tattoo with a bit more detail IMO.

From my emoblog:

In life, when you insult someone you use slurs, and you slanderize the victim.

In Vision; if you want to insult someone or slander someone you can draw them crudely, give them a penis for a head, add blue hair on it and shout ZOMG the REI if you wanted.

But; Visual Slurs are images that are so offensive to look at that it upsets you to look at it. I have portrayed this a few times (Deadman's, Visual Slur, Most of the other Model KT's (like 2, and 5 and 6), Red Bells, Scroll of Monkeys, WELFARE, LULLABY, The Divine song ...etc)

EXPLAINATION:
When i was young; I'd grow very tense when people would look down at my doodling, It got me frustrated to the point that i'd draw violent and abusive things directly to scare away people until i finished my work. This distraugtful style was used alot for my angry pictures, ink scribbles and such it slowly became a style i use.

Today in Print Critique we had an engaging discussion how my art can be playful and creative from a distance "like a toy soldier." to become very disgusting, and repulsive. Thats what i wanted really.

If you grow a headache reading my artwork, my job was done.

This'll help explain this,.

Ay, madam, it is common.

If it be,
why seems it so particular with thee?

Seems, madam! Nay, it is.

I know not "seems."

'Tis not alone my inky cloak,
good mother...

together with all forms, moods,
shapes of grief, that can denote me truly.

These indeed seem, for they are actions
that a man might play...

but I have that within which passes show.

Thats deep.

Aye.

Come and sit you down.
You shall not budge.

You go not till I set you up a glass...

where you may see the inmost part of you.

What wilt thou do?
Thou wilt not murder me?

Cool beans.
I see, like, a lot of different artists or artistic influences in it (or maybe my brain is just soaking in the Art History Juice): Odilon Redon, Klimt, Kirchner, etc. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_cool.gif
Maybe I'll post a couple prints, too. We've covered woodblock, serigraphy (<3), and collography so far, with various etching techniques yet to follow.

When your mother has grown older,
When her dear, faithful eyes
No longer see life as they once did,
When her feet, grown tired,
No longer want to carry her as she walks,
Then lend her your arm in support, escort her with happy pleasure—
the hour will come when, weeping, you must accompany her on her final walk.
And if she asks you something, then give her an answer.
And if she asks again, then speak!
And if she asks yet again, respond to her, not impatiently, but with gentle calm.

And if she cannot understand you properly, explain all to her happily.
The hour will come, the bitter hour, when her mouth asks for nothing more.
