greetings fellow psu playa's.this is majan with the scum-bag update of the week for you all.

remember firebreak when there was a rare spawn pretty much every other run of urgent orders?well, consider every single mission of the cup a rare spawn where people will be kicking each other out of the parties as soon as the EX missions start.more S ranks for them and less whining from you.majan's advice?get a party of FRIEDNS who you KNOW will not do that.just a warning before we flood the boards again with ZOMG I GOT KICKED....this time,be prepared and dont underestimate people in their plight to acheive true videogame scummery.

majan signing out.good luck to everybody and let us s-rank virgins be gluttonously satisfied through this event! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_beer.gif

hmmmm.but if they are 2 or more people required for one of the missions he/she won't be able to do it like the moatoob mission http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Good advice, Majin. However...there will still be people who post on here about stuff like, "I was kicked ;_;! Those bastards!!! I could've got *insert name here* S rank!!1111" and complain about it anyway.

Why? Because people like to complain, despite getting a warning about this kind of thing happening.

Well, this is why I believe guilds are good. I already know I'm guaranteed to be running with some good parties and people I can trust, so I won't get booted and we'll all get something out of this event http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

EDIT: oooh..didn't know that Flowen. So it's like Her Secret Mission then? Well, that's good to know. I'm sure there will STILL be someone who kicks another out of a party though or someone will get upset and leave, making the whole party fail.

It's BOUND to happen, I'm sure http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif

id just like a party where we all say what we want, and we all get what we want, and nobody steals the item someone else called.
preferably your party should go like this:
you assaign an order of members in case 2 people want the same item
so lets use this

jack-wants creadoubles
jill-creadoubles
mario-creadoubles
chuck norris-creadoubles

if that was the party's order for 2 or more wanting the same items, jack would get the first one found.

now lets say

jack-found item
jill-twin ragnus
mario-found item
chuck norris-twin ragnus

now if a twin rag is found, who gets it? jill.
got it?

and if the item is wanted by no one, the order goes into play yet again.
jack would get the first unwanted rare, and then if another pops up, jill would get it.

sound good?

oh and if anybody here wants to do A missions with me, i dont have a party =[

By the way, my previous post was based on absolutely nothing. When playing in the EX missions, you want all the help you can get. More people, more kills, more boxes, more rares.

In a sense, you fail without party members.

Well after Firebreak, I have learned a few people to never party with, one being a Cast whos name suggests he is an Android and a Man at the same time. Good luck to all!

I hate it when people call rares in random parties. They'll join and call items for themselves. Heh, no. If you're gonna be in a random party just take the items you get in 'set random' and if someone else gets soemthing you want trade for it.

I don't have any real-world friends who play, but I've found some people I've started to play alongside with when I see them. They usually have the party set for random givings of rares, so I'll just hope I run into one or two of them and go from there.

The only thing I'll prolly do w/ a random party is those missions with the 250% exp, other than that, friends onry.

Xbox 360 player here. Will be running as soon as servers come up. Look in Universe 1 for a LvL 99 FT by the name of Lessa. I will be running and I don't boot for Rarz. mmmmmkay! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif I will be running at least till my set assigned group of friends wakes up. But until that time, I will be running throw together parties and you may request items whilst in the parties and we'll see what we can work out.

I'd better qualify for friends onry, Shiro. >.<

I'm only going with friends. This is because I'm trying to hunt for friends as well.

If I've forgotten to PM you with a list of what I wanted, PM me with your list if you know you're my friend and you want me to keep an eye out for something for you!

Good luck to all those grinders m/

(Yes quoting pika again on the same subject).

But, that's damn straight lol.

And fyi, the idea of kicking people on rare spawns never actually crossed my mind until it started popping up all over the forums. It's something I won't do, and anyone who does it is a complete fuckwit, both in moral terms AND gameplay terms http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

You do know that even for A rank the requirement is only 55, meaning that even people with 85+ chars aren't going to be able to exclude their younger buddies?

It's so sad that we have such greedy b*st*sds playing this game that even with a 500% rate increase of rares, people will still resort to kicking/booting people out of their parties...

Aries2384
Oct 19, 2007, 01:22 AM
It is a fact of life. People are greedy and will do whatever they can to forward their own gain. I'd say "get used to it" but we shouldn't have to.. but we do. Oh well.

I think the original poster is thinking a bit backwards here. Its counterproductive to kick everybody from party. In A-rank missions, you need those people to help clear the EX mission. If you don't have them there, you can't get to the end, and you effectively, can't reap the benefits of the EX mission.

Plain and simple, you'll probably get MORE rares in a 4 person party than you would by yourself during the EX missions. At the very least, you'd have chances at BETTER rares.

Yes, it's only the poseurs who call themselves that. The original 'hackers' were people who programmed in Compiler and were truly geeks of the highest order. Nowadays, though, the term 'hacker' has been so overused and overhyped that the REAL hackers refuse to use the word - you'll never catch one of them with the word in their mouth except to spit it back at someone sarcasically.

Script kiddies, the people who use someone else's preconstructed programs to break into systems and perform illegal acts, would be the only ones to call themselves 'hacker', but they know the truth: That they only pretend to the title. They are midgets peeping around the feet of giants.

I don't even see how people who use someone else's programs on video games could call themselves hacker, or even script kiddy. Someone whose need for validation, for something to make themselves important, is so immense that it drives them to deserve only one term:

Cheater.

They are cheaters, nothing more and nothing less. It took the work of one moderately skilled code artist to figure out how to cheat on PSU, but everything since then has been done by children who simply can't enjoy a game the way it's supposed to be enjoyed.

Quite pathetic, really. And quite funny, too.
