One thing to keep in mind about the Parum mission is that the routes, chips, and gates are randomized. Run it a few times and you'll get used to it.

There is one field in Raffon Meadow where you have to kill specific enemies in order to get one of the chips.

In the field right before relics, there is a path that splits left and right. Take the left path first and make note of the enemies that appear there. Now backtrack and go along the right path. Only kill the enemy type that appear on the left side. If you do it correctly, a key should appear.

EDIT(made some mistakes): been trying it on C to try to figure out the maps...
after destroying this box got a key

went to the warp after the lazer fence that needs the key, killed the monsters, and found a chip on a fruit from this tree

I don't think I'm ever going to get to see the Parum EX mission.

Thanks for putting your glitched De Ragnus fight in, Sega http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

We've not managed to keep everyone in the mission on that fight once yet, lots of freezes. Just like on Dual Sentinel and the waterfall mission.

Only one in relics as far as i know.

There are actually two in the forest. You get one in the tree and one after the split where the NPC can show up.

Please tell me there's a walktrhough here somewhere... You'd think there'll be one since the Japanese got Famitsu ages ago...

Well i found the 2nd chip at the part where you have to kill the correct monsters. That part was easy tho, All you had to do was kill all the Badiras at that part. Like kill the first Badira. then when the next to monsters you will see 2 Badiras. one is a king and the other is not. kill the Badiras thats not a king. Then the 3rd row. Just kill the Badira and you will get the 2nd chip

It is rather difficult to write a detailed guide for this mission. There are several variations to this mission and your choices during the mission can greatly effect its outcome.

im scared to see the 'luck' one on GC....

Ok so if i read all the detail correctly, the first chip is in a tree in a dead end before the relics, theres a key you get to open a gate, the key is inside a box (does this gate lead to the tree?), the second chip you get at the split path, first you go left and see what enemy spawns over there, then you go the path to the right and only kill that enemy, but if a king version of that enemy spawns do not kill it just kill the normal version, then the third chip is in the relics in a room with turrets

Is that about right? im trying to write a makeshift guide for my friends

Ok, then how did people get the Ex mission so many times? I doubt its all done by pure memory... And just cause it has variants doesn't mean it can't be written and recorded.

Is there no walktrhough or tips at all?

Also, what are the requirements for EX mission? Does the time affect whether you get EX mission or not, or you just need 8 samples?

DO you need 8 samples for ALL ranks, or just the A rank mission?

You only need 8 points to get into the Ex mission. That is fairly easy to obtain, even if you are casually playing the mission. Writing up the guide to get a perfect score is the hard part. The warps, gates, and spawns you will face from mission to mission makes it a challenge to organize a coherent guide.

Oh 8 POINTS. Not chips.

How can you get 10 points for perfect though?

And what IS a good time? 20 mins? 30?

DanMalak

There are 2 in the forest. (1 in the tree, and the other is in the the forest C(one before relics) and near the begining there is 2 options. You go right, in this forest alley and you get to this little area with a red gate. Monsters come in 2's and you have to kill the right one for more monsters to come, after you do that 2 or 3 times a 1up thing will appear. (I'm not sure if the monster you have to kill varies, but for us we had to kill the Go-varhas 1st)

The last one is in the relics in the big box...not that hard to find out.

So. Just when you enter 'meadow C' you kill two badria and then two vahra right? But I can't past the gate on the right, it doesn't open. What am I doing wrong? :s

If you mean the one you get by killing certain enemies, those shouldn't count.

I don't know the exact times you need. Based on what I'm seeing, it should be less than 15 minutes for C Rank at least.

I've been getting perfect scores on parum A rank pretty easily. Moatoob confuses me though.

Wow, got any tips and tricks for us still struggling? I mean, getting perfect score means doing all those variants under a time limit, along with a boss fight.
