I'd start walking. After driving across the country several times (my father doesn't seem to like airports, and I don't blame him after spending a night in one due to a delay), 300 miles doesn't really seem all that far.

Yeah, if, say, it was in the ocean, I would probably start swimming. Then convince space whales to make me a spaceship to get back home, or possibly to a better world.
