Shadoog & Madoog?

I was wondering exactly what thies do? I seen in videos that they cast techs but how is that possible for a Fighgunner who can't use techs to use a shadoog to cast spells? or am I wrong?

one is a tech one i dont kno which one and the other is sort of photon element range wep or something like that but they are cool lol

Madoog - Tech weapon, you can equip two techs to it, it is a left side weapon

Shadoog - Ranged weapon, no PP just automatically starts firing when in range of an enemy, it too is a left side weapon

Shadoog damage is also based on TP, which is why many melee classes actually have a decent TP mod in AoI. They're capable of landing some nasty SEs, too.
