View Full Version : Who's interested in D&D?

DizzyDi
Oct 24, 2007, 09:33 PM
So me & Scrub want to start up an FKL D&D game. I know we tried this before and it didn't work out but some complications arose and things happened but this time we're serious.
Depending on who joins and everyone's schedule it'll probably be a weekly thing, I'm thinking twice a week but nothing is set in stone yet.
So if you wanna play with us and you're serious about this, post up and I can PM you with the details.
But SERIOUS RP'ERS ONLY NEED APPLY.

No its actually really simple, the DM will do most of the work, LOLSCRUB.
You just have to know your character and what he/she is capable of.
And if you don't know you can ask the DM.

I wouldn't get into that. I'd get into more basic ideas of the game, not the nitty gritty details.

Goes like this:
The Dungeon Master(DM) acts as sort of a referee, oversee thing. He'll explain the situation we're in (ie: you're stuck in a forest with goblins surrounding you) and we act accordingly. He plays the role of all NPCs and monsters. In fights, the DM controls the monsters, in towns the DM plays the role of the villagers that the players talk to. The DM knows everything that is going along in the game and simply guides the players along.

It is a team effort of the players to do whatever it is the DM has set up for us to do. It may be save a queen, kill a king, or just gather lots of loot and booty and become high level badasses.

What adds the real flavor to the game is how the players and DM roleplay it. So if I were a Paladin I'd act all honorable in all my actions. Its sorta like a CYOA but on a grander scale.

Yes, I will play if you and Scrub can get the campaign going. And Monks are super karate master people, so it'll be fun pounding people with my fists.

Edit: I said Scrub has my character sheets, but I may need to rework my stats and feats if you two decide to do it differently than how he did it before.

Scrub
Oct 25, 2007, 03:32 PM
I dont have your character sheets Tact what the hell are you talking about.

Also due to Lawful bullshit, any Paladin or Monk or anything like that'll require a list of your Monkly/Holy Code, so if you break it we don't get into a big fucking debate about how you're losing your special crap.

Tact
Oct 25, 2007, 03:39 PM

Scrub
Oct 25, 2007, 04:56 PM
Well Tact the program we'll be using stores the character sheets on it so you'd have to remake it again anyway. Its not hard at all though.
