Missing monsters on deadly brilliance

I have been doing this mission a few times and I am wondering, are there hidden monsters? Because we get 144 kills and never get any points, and I am sorry if there is a post about this already I could not find it

At the first teleporter you come across in the mission, goggle the tree to the left of it and blow up the tree. Press the button and the tele will take you to another location which has more monsters.

I'm assuming thats your problem, sorry if it ain't
