Difficulty Levels

I'm a level 14 FOmar. I was wondering if you could use the characters you made for one dif. setting on the others. Also, do you need to beat the game in normal to go to hard, and beat the game in hard to go to VH, etc. When should I go to the next diff.?

-Yes, you can use the same character on all the difficulty levels.
-Yes, you must beat Normal with a character before you can access Hard, etc.
-You should move up to the next difficulty level when you beat the final boss on the previous one.

For single player offline, you can access the next difficulty after you beat the previous one. Usually, DF on the previous difficulty is much tougher than forest on the next difficulty, and forest on a higher diff. level gives better experience, so it's good to advance asap.

However... for multiplayer, you must reach a certain level (you don't ever have to clear the game) to access higher difficultis:

Hard - 20
V. Hard - 40
Ultimate - 80

Got to love that multiplayer mode skipping. Only problem is that you got to wait till 80 for ultra.

Which is such a pain, since my friend beat Vhard at lvl 54, and I so want someone to play ult. with me. Good thing though, is that now that he is in ult in single player, he is lvling up fast. Not much longer now http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif
