In the expansion, you can modify your luck for 100, 1000, or 10000 meseta. Seems great right? Not really.

It is only worth your meseta if you have 0 luck. If you
try to modify your luck with as little as level 1 luck, the chances that you luck will go down instead of up are far greater.

I will give credit to the system in that the pros of risking a luck mod during a level 0 luck day outweigh the cons. If you were to go from level 0->3 on any given day, the cost to get there would be well worth it. But don't be fooled into thinking that level 1 luck is not worth keeping.

what does the title of this topic have to do with the content of the paragraph? Am I missing something here?

"Miko" is the name Kamica is using for the NPC Shrine Maiden in Ambition of the Illuminus. You can give her a meseta "tribute" to change your character's luck. Most of the time, your luck will be reset to 0.

Miko is the luck NPC from AoI. You'll have to pay a certain amount to "try" to get whatever luck. At most times, it will not succeed at getting yourself a 3*.

The name "miko" is always a NPC shrine maiden. To hear that it is possible to obtain a luck change in the online version is awesome. If its available for the offline, I would be more than willing to spend 10,000 meseta each time I plan on grinding my weapons. Too bad.. Weapon grinds in the offline always have poor results.

thats why you dont use the luck changer npc for your highest luck char. if you have at least 2 chars, the luck changer npc can be very useful. btw, if your luck changes back to default, you can use the luck changer npc again, even on the same day.

True, but it does cost another 10,000 meseta more.

Which is sort of ironic, since in the offline mode, Ethan spends half the game trying to convert a communion of Gurhal scammer into giving up her fraudulent donation scam.

System seems fine with me, I only use it at 0 or 1.

Obviously you should use it if you have 0.

With 1, the amount of times I have stayed at 1 and gone to 0 are fairly close, with a few sexy days at 2 and 3 each.

Staying at 1 is a failure to me, going to 0 is a failure to me, and more importantly, I couldn't live with myself if I worried about gambling away Lvl 1 luck. It's not like I ever logged in and said hot fucking damn, lvl 1 luck, gonna bust my ass today 8 min runs 7 times an hour 24 hour catassing marathon fuck yeah Mountain Dew Wooooooooo! Actually I don't even get that motivated with lvl 3...So uh yeah, no reason not to use it with 1, if it's such a big deal losing lvl 1 I'm sure you could expend some mail effort and find someone with it to play with.

Who cares about the 10k anyways. If I had my way there'd be a 100k option. When every piece of temple frogshit drops 2k meseta, it's a bit hard to take meseta woes seriously anymore.

She looks bitchy and if it's the outfit that does it for you, every single motherfucking female character on the JP servers is wearing it right now to the point where I want to stab people. >_>

Nope, useless.

Hey now, that was different. That filthy round-ears was pretending to be part of the newman member of the Communion and pocketing it all for herself. At least the shrine priestess is honest when she takes your money.
