What happens if your floader explodes?

...or can't it? Are there enough mines in the water area of Neudaiz to make your floader die? What happens if it does?

I believe the floader only explodes on 2 conditions:

1) it hits the rock to often
2) the monsters' attacks cause destructive damage to the floader itself

Personally, I don't like "floader" missions. After the third try of a floader explosion, the mission becomes annoying.

There are no monsters in the floader section that I've ever encountered. Only mines. Maybe you drown?

The only hazards in the Neudaiz floader level are mines. Theres a grand total of four, and each does like 23 damage, so I don't think its possible to get blown up. Maybe in Story Mode, though.

I think there's actually 5 of them... 2 at the beginning, 1 before you get to the second area just after the laser gate, and 2 in the second area. I'll have to check it out later, LOL

Well, those floaders should have been able to move at high speeds WITHOUT those speed-up things...

The only thing that happens is that you restart you dont lose anything you just have to start from the begining.

And yea, all that happens is your floader starts exploding, screen fades back, and you start at the beginning.

You just restart at the beginning when your floader HP reaches zero. The thing I want to know is how people can jump over the obsticles, that's something I exploit to help me clear the floader part quickly.
