What do you do while the game goes through loading screens?

Wanna know what I do? Well see I have a baby pin on my desk next to me. I like to clean the grooves of plastic where the parts come together. Dirt and gunk like to creep up in there. Also by the Z button and the wire, thats a key spot right up there. Oh dont forget the screw grooves behind the c-button and digital pad, they get filled with gunk BIG TIME!

Where do you keep your controller, Tiger? I've had my contoller for well over a year and it's still clean as a wistle, including all the tight and narrow spots.

As for the loading screen, I just press up and down on the c stick to change the speed of the rings.

I do tend to subconsiously pick grime out of the controller during a load screen though. Lotsa places where junk gets lodged into the GCN controllers.

It usually doesn't take that long for my screen to load, whether I'm heading towards the lobby or goin' in a telepipe. So I usually just play with the pretty rings or tinkly thing and stare amusingly at the screen. =/

Usually when I'm bored I do very poor renditions of old epic 80's rock ballads. My voice isn't the most pleasant sound in the world, so you can imagine the torment of my roommates when I'm doing the TP trick over and over.

I just sort of sit there...(I even fall asleep sometimes if i'm playing pso late enough). It gets pretty boring doing the telepipe trick over and over again looking for those rare monsters you know.

I always have my cat with me to.

edit: I also keep a small thing of silly putty stuck to something nearby. I smush it into my wavebirds channell changing knob, and then read the channel on the imprint left on the silly putty. Hehe :edit

Of course, I wish they hadn't put those rings in. If they had left the glowing ball thing in everywhere, I would ALWAYS be flying that thing around. Its the coolest thing ever.

For the loading screen with the sparkly thing, I like to zoom it around and bounce it off the sides of the screen. I have a theory that if you push at the same time with the main control stick and the C-stick it goes faster, so I do that.

For the telepipe screen, I change the speed randomly/make it always fast/make it always slow and occasionally change the direction. For the quest loading screen, I mash the A button rapidly to change the colors.

Oh, and occasionally I'll read these forums or make a post or check a guide or something.

I don't find the loading times are that bad, but I still like to bounce the glitter ball off the four corners of the screen, and sometimes pretend the telepipe tunnel is a slolum (Okay, I can't spell ;.;)

I've done what most of the people have already mentioned here.

Move the little glowing ball around the screen, bouncing it off the sides. I think the directional pad itself moves the ball faster. I didn't know the pipe rings could be made to move faster or slower till I read this topic. I will have to try it out.

Change the color of the rings during quests loads. Most of the time I try to make the color match my Section ID.
Boy: "The colors Duke, the colors!"
Dog: "I'm color blind kid."

I eat a snack/part of my meal(i.e. dinner or lunch), watch tv, drink some water/soda, change to the next map if doing c-mode, surf the web(if I'm playing offline), clean the gunk out of my controller(your not the only one) or change the cd if I am listening to my music.

yea and the loops seem to go fast with the cstick and joystick not only can the speed change but u can change the direction but i just like making it go faster
