Actually the luck is made the way that everyone gets it equally often over the course of the year.

On the other hand I often find 3 Luck not much better or even worse than 2 or 1 luck...

I have found more rappys and items with no luck than I did with 3 for Newman on Saturday or 3 for Cast on Sunday. I have begun to discount this whole luck thing as totally insignifigant. Also a side note, in my personal experience beast luck is totally worthless and level 2 luck is actually negative 2, just a translation error on Sega's part

Fact #1: Photon fortune does not affect the quality of drops, only the quantity.

Fact #2: The only thing photon fortune is useful for is grinding. If you absolutely need to grind right away, keep one character slot open and make that character whatever race/gender combo has 3* luck today. Remake as needed.

Did you know that every race/sex combination had a total 245 "points" of luck during the first year of PSU with only 1 exception? Male Newmans had only 244 points.

Seems like an equal distribution to me.

I did the math in a post way back but 3* luck isn't useless. It just doesn't make up for the time spent under 0-2* luck. Do you really expect to find more rares on the handful of days a month with 3* than all the other days combined?

Lvl 82 humen here, From lvl 1-82 I have almost never seen us have 3* luck. I am not much worried about it since I don't believe that luck helps you in missions, only helps success in Synthing and Grinding, But it does seem odd that male humens rarely get 3* days.

AFAIK photon fortune has no effect on synthing, only grinding, unless someone has proof otherwise.

I totally agree. Who cares about all those other times? We've got the 1Up Cup going, and this it when having 3 star luck is the most beneficial, whether the effects are psychological or real.

Synthed all of my 44-50% weapons, gotten my Sori / TECH and TE / TECH Save, etc. all on no luck or "insignificant" luck.
