How much of a noob would someone be for NOT doing this event (1up cup), even once, to see how it is and get exp from it? To even say that the person hisses at the name of the event and angsts about it, despite wanting to catch up to friends who are well over level 50 while he plays WoW?

I mean really... doesn't that sound like the epitimy (sp?) of stupid and noobishness? I mean... even the newest players are getting into this event for crying out loud and this guy has been a player from way back in the bad ol' days, about a month or so after the game first came out.

EDIT: Removed name

Eh... sounds like something you should talk to your friend about, not slander him on PSO-W about.

Your friend apparently chose his friends poorly.

His fault. B-slap him if he complains afterwards.

Well, I was going to say, "Maybe he doesn't feel like grinding", but yeah..he plays WoW.

The game that gets interesting once you've FINALLY reached level 75 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Well, in any case..I can see how it's a bit frustrating, but if he's wanting to do something else, there's not much you can do about it really. I would suggest talking it over with him, but at this point, he probably wouldn't even listen anyway.

So! My only advice at this point is..don't lose sleep over it. Don't let it bother you. Just try to enjoy the event yourself http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Compared to FFXI, WoW has very little grinding to it.

He didn't mention anything about FFXI. He said the guy plays WoW. So comparing it to PSU, yes..it IS a lot of grinding. You comparing WoW to FFXI when replying back to this thread was a bit off-topic, yes?

That depends on whether you play L2 legally or not. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif Because on the private servers... (Well... Think Ragnarok.)

He has friends? Some people just like to grind too much, if they'd rather just to normal missions over and over, when an event comes up. :/

You really, really need something to break up the monotony of the game - things that didn't come often enough.

Not to mention... WoW isn't grinding, after you've played PSU - it's a relief.

Well, if he asks you to go help him get something that was common during 1-up or help him level, you can give him some flak.
