So I've finally almost got my tech PM up to 100, and I want to evolve it into something new. but im struggling between the two evolution devices 451 and 452. here are the draws for each:

451: uses a halarod, uses Ice technics (which can freeze, always a plus, and lots of enemies are fire), and has autonomous AI (im assuming this is a benefit, in that it will move on its own, even if you're relatively far from the mobs, forcing it to not engage). also, this one is my favorite aesthetically (i like the little angel look)

452: uses buffs (i know my buffs will ultimately be better, but when i forget...), uses lightning technics (paralyze), uses rentis (i don't know the cast rate of this, but any shield spell i'll take whenever), and uses an SUV.

so, i'm really torn. thats why im asking all the wonderful PSOWorlders for advice.

thanks in advance!

Why not 454? She debuffs and uses earth techs. Uses resta a lot too. She also has meteor attacker which is good since she usually sticks close to you. Shops sell megistaride in AoI anyways, and shield techs become user only.

Otherwise I choose 451 since I've never used 452. >_>

451 is way cuter, way.

I went with 451. I didn't need a buffer/healbot, because she's with my Fortetecher. Fire enemies are extremely common, so she gets the added elemental advantage (though her spells are always weaker than mine) and occasional freeze.

The shock from lightning techs sounds kinda nice, as is the 452's SUV, but I stuck to the 451 in the hopes of getting a more offense-oriented PM. Oh, and yeah, it's worth noting that the shield technics are going to be adjusted into affecting only the original caster, come AoI (possibly sooner?). I'm happy with my 451.

Haven't tried out the 453 or 454 yet. Both sound kinda neat. When my PT gets his PM high enough, I'll give those a spin.

I'ma have to say the 452 here. Her lightning techs paralyze at an alarming rate making solo runs a bit of a breeze. I don't care too much about her buffs/debuffs but the shield tech was nice. The SUV attack can also come in handy at just the right time, and that's a bit more useful than a HP restore. Other than that it's her twisted sadistic nature which makes her stand out. So in closing I'd like to say that no, blondes do not have more fun... http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

If you're a techer type- 451

If you're not- 452

Both are pretty good though so either one you pick you wont regret it

452.

Why?
*Better costume
*Better status effect (Shock > Freeze, it's less fragile)
*More Resta (even if you're a Techer, it's good to have a secondary source for it)
*Her attitude is better
*She's a raging pacifist that goes insane when she's pissed
*Sturm Buster, hell yeah

http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif I wuff my 452.

Pretty sure shield techs ain't user-only, even online. The range is just very very tiny.

Yeah, the range is ridiculously small. I've been standing maybe the width of one person away from Cura when she fired a Rentis and I still didn't get it.

Example:
o...O

o = Cura
O = me
... = space between us, attempted to be to-scale

I've tried it with Maya. Even standing right where she was didn't give me whatever she was casting.

Hm, they may have repatched it, but I remember when they first made it "user-only" people were posting pics of it still working on them if they stood close. Plus that's how it works offline.
