the fuss seems to be mainly about getting 10 points, but what about 8?is it possible to s-rank the mission easily on every map variation you get?

Dunno,

I got 8 points by getting one chip and the boss being final Fakis only.

I don't think so, if you don't get the "right" map, you won't get enough kill, so thats -2. On top of that I don't think you can always get the first chip, in the rubble after the fire trap room, unless you get the "right" variant that is, so thats another -1. That already drops you to 7, I could be wrong though.

Yeah that was most likely the right variant, but he didn't get two of the chips.

I think it is always possible to get all 3 chips, so even with the -2 in monster killed, you can still get an 8. Remember, the first chip is not always in the pile of rubble. It can also be found behind you (or so I'm told)

you can still go to the rubble chip regaurdless of the map

Hmm.. I'll have to check that out later... You can't always even get in the area where the rubble with the first chip is... What exactly does behind you mean? Because I don't think theres anywhere else the first chip can be. The last chip can be in a few places, on of which you have to back track to get, so that might be what the person meant.

*Edit: I'm wrong, you can get into that area, even if the warp doesn't take you, but I don't think the chip is in the rubble, at least it wasn't any time I've tried it.

As soon as you enter block 2, turn around. The chip can be behind you.

So, uhh, is that a yes? I really hope it can be S'd on any map, at least the 8 points.

Last ~10 runs I did were 8 points or above, I think we had all varations. So I think you can get 8 in every version. Not sure if you can get 10 in every version tho, we failed once coz there wasnt enough mobs to kill even tho we didnt leave out any (intentionally).

Yep, with that little bit from Turam and Beatrix, I was able to find the first chip on any variant so far... so it seems you can always get 8, but only certain variants can get you 10.

time counts for 5 point, chips for 3 points and enemies for 2 points. all three chips can be found on everymap (rubble, ceiling switch, by key/ behind fake wall). The only difference that the "right" map has is having more enemies. As long as you get the keys and finish with in (30?) minutes, you should get 8.

8 is possible for every map variation. There's only 1 that's a 10 point variation.

If you get the 8 point variation, you can skip mobs and not worry about that portion of the results.

Well, its nice to get some exp from those mobs at least, for those of us lving alts and don't have like 2 or 3 lv 100s.

Sigh, asking again... what time do you need to get the max 5 pts. for this mission?

Again: Time limit is between 27:19 (5 points) and 29:14 (3 points).
