The Mechgun glitch isn't 360 exclusive.

No one ever said it was. I saw someone using it in my game and didn't know what the hell was going on until I read about it.

A lot of people assume it is around here.

Also, there's a fix in AotI. One second delay between going in and out of FPV. for those (RJBeasts) who think a button glitch cannot be rectified

That's news to me actually, I thought someone else said it wasn't reproducable on the other platforms. Well PC/PS2 is already off-balance enough, so what's one more kink in the system? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I hope those that exploited it get banned, too.

That, and all the Fortechers who exploited the stacked Megiverse glitch, and everyone exploiting the Laser Cannon glitch, too.

My name is RevolutionXx RJBeAsTs was a long time ago, and when you think about it it might not be fixable becuase it has something to do with the mechanics with the controller and machine gun, not hte actual game.

Also it hasn't been fixed in AoI yet and no one knows if it will YET.

If it affects the economy or other players then yeah... But isn't the laser cannon glitch kind of on the "lol" level? Even with the glitch nobody uses them. Just kinda fun to surprise people at best.

So you're saying people that used the glitch to wear pants in addition to the original swim wear should also get banned?

WHO CARES ABOUT THE GLITCH!!!!! dont use it, dont play with people who do use. the more you talk about it, the more people will inquire about it, the more people will earn it, the people will exploit it. let it die...

this is becoming worse than the britney spears album. bad publicity is making this thing popular.

banning for a ingame problem that can be exploited but fixed (that should of been handled in tha 1st place) - not cool.

using mechanics outside of the game that effect not only the user but the game play around them (ei - h4xing) - reasonable.

You know, if you were banned, making a new account is grounds for immediate banning. Also, It HAS been fixed. You can't do it without being able to jump in and out of FPV quickly. By making a 1 second delay before you can go in or out of FPV, they fixed the glitch. And people that do have AotI have already confirmed it.

But thanks. Don't kick me out of your competition.

I fully embrace the glitch while it lasts. When it gets fixed, fine. It's not like this game has player vs. player or anything. I feel that when people exploit a glitch in a competitive game like Halo or Counter Strike then it really matters.

I can't do it on PC, though.

I can do it on PS2. But it's stupid.

I already said in another thread I found out about it around FireBreak.

But you Pc/PS2 players can't blame me for releasing it into the server.

Yeah, because that's exactly what a company wants to do. Piss off the little customers they have and deny them service for a tiny little problem that doesn't affect gameplay in a damaging way whatsoever.

Here's another example then. Since sitting down with your weapon is done via a glitch most likely, is that a ban-worthy offense as well?

What I'm getting at is that the your idea of glitch users should be banned is absurd. And yes, SEGA can ban people for it, but whether they SHOULD do so is a completely different story. In the case of the swim wear, the fact that SEGA is making swim suits a two piece out fit (unless I've been fed incorrect information) makes that scenario fairly clear on the should/should not scale.

With one exception comes others. The general consensus is that glitches that, when exploit, hurts the game in some way are, or glitches that "unethical" should be made bannable offenses. The problem arises that the views on what "hurts game play" and what is should be deemed "unethical" is different from person to person so setting a blanket statement is well, stupid.

I loled this. hey revoloutionXx, did u every play pso dc v1? guess not then eh. cause there was this little thing called pk. person kill. youd set resta to ur shifted part of ur "pallet" i guess in pso and then in the same spot put a spell attack. so when u went to heal and let it go ud attack. so if i remember that was mechanics with the controller yet they fixed that for hmm dc v2, gc, xbox, pc, and BB

yeah, ok, too bad you can make the mechgun shoot 2-5 times as fast if you know what you doing. one xbow does NOT have better dps than five mechs. Not to mention you don't need to use photon charges ever.

I mean, there are harmless glitches, glitches that help, but have a downside, and glitches that are downright ridiculous.
