do you use girly weapons

okay, so one of my friends is a male human, and he refuses to give him any "girly" weapons such as cards and even will refuse to use whips in the expansion because they look weak and like they should be used by girls. So my question to all you people is, do you not use specific weapons because they damage your masculinity?

Note: appllies only to male characters, but feel free to post comments about female characters as well.

Lol, I use Twin Kitty Claws and Twin Bear Claws. I also use cards, and plan on using whips. Guess I'm a girly man? HA. I'll let the damage do the talking lulz.

I try to avoid using guns, but there are times when their usage is necessary. It's really annoying how gun oriented the game can be sometimes.

By the way, why not just say guns instead of girly weapons? It's much shorter.

All 4 of my characters are female and 3/4 of them can in some way use Technics. Each of them have their own 3 Magical Wands even though 2/3 of them cant even use the wands until AoI (damned Guntechers and their super-gimped TP...).

It's like the only really girly thing any of them possess.

Well, won't say I don't use any not-so-manly-looking stuff, but I try to avoid using it. Items in this category are:

- Sweet Death
- Twin Guns
- Paddles in general
- Rappy Suit
- Puyo Aura, Rappy Mode etc

I try not to use cards on male characters but that's about it. Luckly they're are better/similiar options for damage over them so it doesn't matter. Whips aren't girly as proven before.

Cards/Fans can be badass like Wushu martial artists using them but the throwing animation of males using them in PSU is not...cool.

I don't really like the Magical Wand even on my female character because I like to be playing one of the few female fTs in this game that doesn't look ridiculously girly or " overly cute" but those stats are too much to ignore (way easier ot get MW+5/6 than a Uransara. Also my Caseal GT can actually equip it and still take in the TP advantage of it), in AoI the GRM Wand will replace it anyways though for me.

I rather use Giga/Stamina over Puyo Aura and Rappy mode because they don't make my characters look like shit or slow down my game, not nesscarily because they're girly.

I don't care about girly weapons, I use pretty much any weapon thats not a standard one. If I'm a FT I just use whatever has a high battery life, Magical Wand Included. As a PT/FiG I just use whatever I like to look at or whatever I feel matches my character. I'll defiantly be using whips when they come out....JUST so I can use my fave gunner line. "Time to spread the SEs like butter!" I do admit though that the whip looks kinda wonky when it attacks. >: kinda like a 70's sci fi SFX job.

On topic: I favor weapons with a more direct feel to them, so my main character doesn't use weapons such as Sabers, Daggers, or their twin variants. It's just a bit too much flourish and/or wasted motion for me. However, if I played a type that could use Whips, I would definitely equip one. It just seems too damn useful to me.

As said multiple times before, whips aren't girly and Indiana Jones, Trevor, Simon and Richter Belmont demonstrate that. I can't comment about PSU whips though because I haven't seen their animations.
As for girly weapons...I'm effeminate enough already without all those tooty frooty inedible candies, flowers, hearts and RAINBOW GUNS! Also, lots of melee animations are simply too fancy, especially Gravity Strike. (Dunno about other flourishy animations, but Grav Strike is way too girly.)
But as much as I hate them girly weapons, males SHOULD be able to use the damn things if they so choose. Especially considering that females are allowed to use shotguns, the manliest weapons of all Gurhal! (well, except that purple one that shoots confetti that aint available yet...)
Which brings me to another point: They're called SHOTGUNS! Or BOOMSTICKS! Not *flitty hand gesture* shotties. You don't see me calling rifles rifeys, do ya? Shotguns are STRONG and deserve their strong-sounding name!

As said multiple times before, whips aren't girly and Indiana Jones, Trevor, Simon and Richter Belmont demonstrate that. I can't comment about PSU whips though because I haven't seen their animations.
As for girly weapons...I'm effeminate enough already without all those tooty frooty inedible candies, flowers, hearts and RAINBOW GUNS! Also, lots of melee animations are simply too fancy, especially Gravity Strike. (Dunno about other flourishy animations, but Grav Strike is way too girly.)
But as much as I hate them girly weapons, males SHOULD be able to use the damn things if they so choose. Especially considering that females are allowed to use shotguns, the manliest weapons of all Gurhal! (well, except that purple one that shoots confetti that aint available yet...)
Which brings me to another point: They're called SHOTGUNS! Or BOOMSTICKS! Not *flitty hand gesture* shotties. You don't see me calling rifles rifeys, do ya? Shotguns are STRONG and deserve their strong-sounding name!



hahahah, tootie-fruity. It's pretty sad some guys would trade badassness for it! Hell, my Nova is a cute girly gunner who'd rather use tough looking guns, over that fruity stuff.
