I don't think there are plans to put PSO on the PS2. Don't hold your breath for it.

But since I'm here and you posted this in The Lounge(which is for the welcoming of new members), welcome to PSOW. SEGA is releasing Phantasy Stars 1, 2, 4, and possibly 5 for PS2. Part of their SEGA AGES (pun-rific) collection for PS2.
