Very few things can make me cringe but Epidermodysplasia verruciformis is one of them.

eh, awesome? over rated. I find it weird, but I'm not sickened by it. It looks so unnatural that it's hard to be. Hell, after a few minutes of looking at it, my first thought "This explains Marrow" (a character from X-men that can grow bones from her skin, even taking them off for weapons, or leave it on for armor)

apparently ones that are close to the skin do, but removing ones that have grown up off of it, not so much. It appears cauterization (burning off) is a decent treatment and will prevent furhter growth, but it's not a cure.
