AotI: Questions

heya! I kinda forgot, well was taking a vacation, plus I needed to do a bake sale to save up for AOI and the fee.

but now, I know I can buy AOI with MS pts. and just download it from marketplace (whee! sure beats going to the store).

but um I forgot,
1. is this the game I can buy a special card at like EB and pay off teh fee that way? or do I have to give out a credit card? or can I use MS pts. to pay the fee? If we ever need to cancel, we still gotta do it over the phone, huh?

2. also any word if AOI will offer free online play first month?

3. does AOI download grant us some sort of extra offline mode. I heard that mode is based off of Episode 2's missions which were available online, but is that like gonna merge with the existing Extra mode

3b. whether AOI's episode 2 becomes extra mode, or a spearate extra mode-like mode,
will the AOI expansion add stuff to the offline character creation? like the new hairstyles? will shops have more clothes?

4. I kinda figure all this info was released a long time ago and I think the Japanese version was already released, but can't find a database about it, but I figure people here know since the game is only like a week away.

You can only pay the subscription with a credit card, the 360 version has no off-line mode http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif and yes u can play with a silver account.

1. Yep, I believe you can just buy the MS points to pay for it at the stores. (If I remember thats how it works...)
2. It will. At least thats how it was for JP. Although JP had a promotion that was like 2 days free or something like that.
3. Yes, AoI offline is just like how PSU online is atm, so theres a lot more to do.

but um I mean AOI *adds* an episode 2 offline mode, or I think adds episode 2 to extra mode, cause I read somewhere players can unlock costumes and other stuff, but I am sure they meant an offlien mode of episode 2, it just means that you won't get the cinema cutscenes that you get if you played episode 2 missions online.

but ya, AOI should come with episode 2 offline mode for all versions.

the main site says that PC/PS2 have offline mode but 360 doesnt. they had to cut it down to as little as possible so it wouldnt be that big of a download and that it wouldnt cost too much.

I dunno. they should offer episode 2 offline as a separate free download for those who buy AOI and still want the complete package. or sell AOI for less and then episode offline can be like 10 bucks.
