I am looking into buying Blue Burst but this would be my first time on a Online game and I was wondering if there were any specific rules you are supposed to follow such as diving up weapons and fighting together with other party members I don't want to be the jerk of the group that steals all the weapons or the annoying n00b who speaks exclusively in L33t (No I am not fluent thank god!!!) Any tips on how to play with others?

I believe he means divvying (as in to divide up the items amongst the other players.)

I would recommend picking up items that your class would require.ex: if you're a hunter stick to picking up blade weapons and one or two guns. It's just a thought. But,like they said before me,just be yourself.pick items but don't hog them, give people a chance to see the item first,if they leave it and no one else picks it,take it.

My personal suggestion would be to call a weapon you are searching for AHEAD OF TIME so as to avoid arguement. Either that or go solo while searching for them.

The main rules online (or some, if not, most of it:
-If you want to get something from a certain ID in a game, call it out so that everybody knows. However, don't be greedy about it. Call just one item per game unless the leader says you can call two items. Don't debate on it either, if the leader won't allow you to call it then don't; just call something else.
-If you happen to call something and it actually drops, pick it up and keep it. No matter what the rarity is, if you were the one to call it, you get to keep it. If others debate on it, ignore them because they are acting stupid.
-If an item drops and nobody on the team calls it and you pick it up, say what the item is and keep it. If the item is called by somebody else, drop it and give it to the person. If you don't know what the item is, keep it until after you visit the tekker and then say what the item is.
-Be nice when a player helps you out. Say "Thank You" when they give you a Shifta and Deband boost, when they heal you when your HP is running low, or when they revive you when you die. These are just examples, but you should know when to thank someone.
-Likewise, don't be selfish. If your teammates need help, help them out. If someone needs to be cured of an effect, heal them; if someone is dead, revive them, etc.
-Be weary of certain people. Do NOT accept free rare items laying around the ground and are handed out like candy. Chances are those items are not legit and neither is the player. The player can be banned sooner or later so it is best to stick to your own items and the rares you see drop from the monsters.
-Most important of all...HAVE FUN! Go get EXP, hunt rares, or communicate with other people. Whatever you do, the decision is yours to make.

thanks, now all I need to decide is whether I want to buy Blue Burst or a PS3 (it's a tough choice if only they made PSO for the PS3 then I'd be set!!!)

For the price of one PS3, you can play BB for 50 months.
I would pick up BB, but hey, that's just me...

I know I know but the PS3 has titles coming out like Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the patriots, Ratchet and Clank Future tools of destruction (simply beautiful) Devil May cry 4 and Half Life 2. This is a difficult choice.

PS3 is insanely overpriced and even with those games, it's not even worth it. You are just taking a $500 system plus $30-50 games (x4 which will be about $120-200)...that extends how long you could play at Blue Burst to about 70 months (or about 6 years). OMGWTFBBQROFL?!!!111

It is also the cheapest and most affordable Blue Ray HD DVD player on the market as well as it has free wireless internet connection Which means I can play online games for free. And damn it I really want to play Kingdom Hearts 3 when it comes out!!!

That's what I was going to say. XD Who is planning on getting BB this late in its life? Especially when PSU has been out for a year and has a new expansion. There won't even BE a BB to play six months or so from now (so it seems), so if you're going to pick up a Phantasy Star game, it's probably best just to go with Universe.

Nah. I am sticking with BB. You know how, so I don't have to get into it.

Or You could start now and when the official servers go down play the servers that must not be named.
true, download it then switch over once the servers are closed. just don't get to involve. the PS3 is nice though, blue ray for $400 cheaper and free internet.
