Hey. So, I played... Roughly a year ago. I bought the game the day it came out, beat the "story" mode, and played an Extra mode character for roughly an hour before I broke down and bought a Guardian's License. I played until around Christmas last year, and got a FOnewearl to her mid-20's, going Fortecher, and got her Force level to... I think 8? Like 8 and a half or something. She was really tall and dark, name was Meena Day. Eh, nobody here probably saw me, I didn't go to the PSU areas much... I also had a Human I was taking Wartecher, but he never got above level 12 or so and I can't remember his name.
Anyway, I stopped playing, but I recently fell in love with the original PSO again, and reading about the new stuff in the expansion makes me salivate. Also, one of my friends (who said she'd buy the game and play with me this time last year...) is finally getting it so we can play together! So, I'm coming back. Browsing a few of the topics, though... I'm lost. I'm completely out of the loop when it comes to rares, popular areas, and the new photon blasts/techs/etc (which are of course the best, so everyone ELSE knows them...). Could anyone fill me in on the general change of things since back in the "good old days"?
