PS Generations 1 still looks and sounds awful.

PSG2 actually looks passable and like they tried outside of those anime stills.

Still, I think neither was really worth bringing over to the US to begin with. Sega Ages isn't exactly a label I associate with quality (Just take a look at their version of Panzer Dragoon -_-) and you can already see in a painful way that corners were cut due to a low budget. PSG1's OST and RPG Maker-esque battle system with everything having poor animation, Rudo in PSG2 being a sprite edit of Tylon, so on.
