Donation Box?

I read somewhere that there's a sort of donation box being added when AoI hits. I understand that you can put old weapons/armor in it instead of selling it with a chance at getting an item back. What types of items can you get back?

Mirei Portraits are the only thing available when that lobby is first out.

Later, you can get Shrine Maiden outfits.

Give it weapons if you want what it offers. Nothing else seems to work from my experience. A grade weapons being the best (go farm those Durandal Repcas from boomas).
