wouldn't it be interested if there were materials for some of the best weapons that you could ONLY get from failed synths, of a specific item too? so lets say some 13* weapon required, like 10 "superlines" (i just made that material up, don't get confused). well, what if the only way to get 1 superline was to fail a synth on an 11* item, and just HOPE that the reward is a superline? it would make for some pretty rare weapons, now wouldn't it? granted a lot of people would just be making like melee weapons on tech PM's just for the lower percentages but still, you'd still have to acquire that 11* board (no small feat) and then fail it. 10 times (or trade/buy the materials from someone else who's done that. and chances are they'd be super expensive). these mats wouldn't drop from anything. only can be seen from failed synths.
