So, I finally gave in

And bought PSU-PS2 on the internets. It should be arriving between the 15th-19th, and I'll be picking up AoI once it comes out.

(With all that old new PSO stuff, I had to; I'm a sucker for nostalgia. XD

I'm pretty excited though, the more I look into it the more awesome it seems. :3

I paid $26 or so for the game and at least have that for 2-3 day shipping. (I don't want to miss the event! D: Oh and, friends really wanted me to hurry, lol )

ah I must say: good buy, even if it is the old version. My price was $45 for the PSU and PSU: AOI but since I won't get the AOI disc until a week afterwards, I might download the iso (hey, I am buying the disk eventually!) As for the PSO related stuff, I can't wait either, but that stuff won't be out on release week. Some time after I hear.

Edit: I started typing this reply after the second post, but since I am at work and all XP You know, you get stuck actually doing work at times.

Yeah, the PSO content won't be out for a good while - January, if we're EXCEEDINGLY lucky (read: snowball's chance in hell) and get Maximum Attack G at the same time as JP PSU. I'm predicting something like March.

Nah, XD, I've been lurking in the shadows with PSU. Because of the whole server side saving thing.

I'd love to be able to play my character when the servers go down; I just didn't see the point in spending as many hours in PSU as I did in PSO (lol, a few thousand) to lose it all.

But then Mowse was like, "It's more about the experience online right?"

Glad you made the jump! I was reluctant at first, myself... Then I stopped playing due to school reasons... But, yeah, the PSO content is what's bringing me back. Good move on SEGA's part, eh?
