Xbox Live crapping out

Xbox Live has been messed up majorly for the past couple of days. You can read more about people's experiences on the xbox.com forums.

Basically, everything is unplayable (including PSU) due to lag (3-4 second delays for everything and 2x length on loading screens), freezing, and so forth.

I dont have any problems on PSU but it has been screwing my Halo 3 up like whoa.

Yeah I have been reading various stories about different games, meh, it always confuses how this stuff just happens out of the blue.

PSU hasn't been laggy at all for since sunday(??) night when the chat bubbles were soo bad.

Halo 3, on the other hand, has been a lag ridden crap shoot all day for me.

Nothing wrong for me. Although, when I tried to get on the first time I got a Disconnect Error, and it froze my 360 when it tried to show the Retry/Disconnect buttons.

P.S. i think its dying because it shouldn't last 5 years. Who wants to bet it'll die before the end of its 5th birthday?

Yeah thats all that was hapening to me my chat bubbles weren't coming out at all.

Started getting issues with PSU around 20-30 minutes ago. Guess I'll try my luck again in a bit. Extreme lag started to happen although voice chat was working perfectly fine. GG Sega or MS or whoever is messing it up (probably a combo of idiots on both ends)

Has there been any talk about the constant lag in PSU being fixed with the release of AOTI?

The lags happen due to the capacity of its content, unlike in the extra mode where lags are so rare that you won't even have breaks of any sort.

Yeah, I started having lag issues with PSU, while my computer seemed fine. It could just be coincidence, though. If it keeps up, I'll just stay off Xbox Live for a few hours and see if that fixes it. That said, getting lag in an EX mission = fail -_-;
