I was thinking about Shadoogs today, and more importantly how they are useful. From what I think I know, they equip in the left hand slot, and shoot on there own. Is that right? I am just wondering how they are useful.

its like having a PM that shoots the right things with u!

Its like shooting while attacking!

lets say you have a dagger and a shadoog out. You can be attacking away with that dagger and while your smaking things around the shadoog will ALSO shoot the enemies.

it also casues Se's pretty nicely, its nice to have if your only gonna sue a right handed weapon http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Usefulness? When the PP runs out, it serves as a cute mag decoration:

Or rather, it uses no PP at all. That's why they always have 0/0PP.

They keep shooting, no PP required. They do status, they hit pretty decently, and they can shoot different.

There are lasers, and twin handgun ones, and single handgun ones, I'm still holding out for Grenades. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

In that case, I will be looking forward not just to the slicers, but the shadoogs too. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I just hope they won't be as useful as having a manually-aimed gun in your left hand.

Yep, shadoogs are pretty useful.

Shadoogs deal extra damage and apply SEs while you're attacking with other means. S grade ones will fire like a laser cannon in terms of having a pentrating beam and the rate at which they fire at. They're quite useful on AF with their arsenal of single handed melee weapons (and their 2nd highest TP in the game) and on GT when using techs against bullet resistant enemies for an extra SE (like this (http://soukosa.amesani.org/psu/images/newman/psu20071112_210919_007.jpg)).

LOL
Yes, shadoogs are pure pwnage... >.<

By the way, was it your shadoog that stunned it? If so, I thought shadoogs don't stun anymore. Instead, htey just do the normal status effects (earth would be silence).
Or is that just an old pic?

Soukosa-san, what rod were you using?

That is surely a powerful one, considering the huge gap between your level and the level of the monster.

Gomen.

Nah... I take back what I said. This is getting a little mean. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_innocent.gif

That's probably just a glitch. It should be 4-digits, 1310 damage! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

thats still kinda weak XD

im pretty sure it was his shadoog http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif (cuz big thick numbers usually mean critical, that would be a sad diga! A rank rod on a lvl 103 against a lvl 25 criticalling for only 131 XD)

There is nothing funny about that. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_innocent.gif

I am Lvl 100 and my Railgun does 0 damage to the De Ragan and the Dulk Falkis. My critical attack does 20 damage. The highest was 35 damage. To hear a Lvl 103 to do 131 critical damage, that is awesome!! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

First off, stop with the quote chain and off topic discussion.

Second, it's a Wand, more specifically a Lidra +3.

I'm 99% sure that was the Shadoog's shot, I can't say whether that is high or low damage, but the point is...Sou's character is apparently a Newman (as the URL would lead me to believe), and for all we know, it may be a level 1 Acrotecher.

EDIT: Also, I'm not sure, but isn't the Kagajibari bullet resistant?

Shadoogs aren't rapid fire or anything. They shoot around 2-3 bullets every 3 seconds.

There are many times when you'll be getting into position, backing off, etc when you can spam some card bullets.

I wonder what the max status level for Shadoogs are going to be? 2? 3? Well, doesn't matter much anyways, not in the expansion.

True, but can you attack while using card at the same time? Not talking about the delay when the card bullets in the air.

Also, Shadoogs have better ability of helping you out with different SE or abilities that cards don't have.

IIRC (its been a while) Soniti is a laser that can knock over enemeies. Someone please correct me here if I am wrong.

Soniti has HP drain and a launch effect, which is more annoying than it should be.
