I'm considering coming back... with the new expansion coming out, I hope that this game will have a more PSO feel (I know they are two separate games, but PSO was more enjoyable for me). I'd like to ask you all a few questions before I make my final decisions.

1. How's the population? How many servers are full during the week and over the weekend?

2. Has there been any cheating issues? Is the economy still messed up?

3. Are/will rare weapons ever drop? This was my favorite part of PSO...

4. Is there a site with the list of updates? I remember a wiki, but I don't have it anymore.

Thanks for helping me out. Hope you all have wonderful thanksgiving http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I'm glad to hear about the drop rates http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif. Does anyone know about the PC/PS2 servers?

I just watched this video on youtube:

Are those mags following the people? Its too good to be true this that's the case...

PS2 PC has about 800 people on weekends. But AOTI will probably bring more people back. And no, those are not mags. They are new weapons known as Shadoogs and Madoogs. Shadoogs are a type of auto turret, that fire on their own. They go in the left handed slot when dual weilding. As for Madoogs. They're pretty much a wand for your left hand. So you could be using a sword and madoog at the same time, and be able to use magic AND melee attacks. Or what have you.

1) There are enough people for you to scramble with.

2) Nope. The updates have patched it up.

3) Rare weapons/items? Yes...tons of it, but only if you are lucky or not.

4) For updates, check the following:

Im also thinking of coming back. I had an 80 lvl char on the pc/ps2 servers but then I got an X360 and restarted from the scratch but got sick of PSU at lvl 20.

got some questions:

1-will the updating system be like psu? (every 2 weeks?)

2-will caves, forest and mines be available from next week on or will we have to wait for future updates?

3-for the ones who have played AOI: has the game got any graphics upgrade? I dont really expect better graphics, but the slowdown on the X360 is annoying (3 players and a foe mob=slow down!! that is bizarre!)

4-last question: have u guys heard Sega saying anything about cheat improvements? Ive seen you can comunicate during boss' animations, but what about the voice chat on the X360? has it been improved?

Im trying to find good reasons to go back online, just hope AOI is more like PSO then PSU!

Thanks in advance!

PS2 / PC

1. The population is decent IMO. Uni 2 is usually 3-4 stars, and theres always lots of people on there. I could not imagine how X360 is... However, I wish we would have more servers with more stars, because you are pretty much forced to play in the most populated server to actually get to play with anyone.

2. Theres still cheating issues. Against the community? No. But its still done, its just alot more subtle. I also heard of some recent incidents in the 360 all of a sudden, which didn't really happen before.

3. Yush they do.

4. idunno.
