The end of the 1up Cup. Boy was it a great month. Been a GREAT YEAR too. Hope for more years to come as the expansion pack is next week!

So for 1cup - Did Everyone find at least one or two things they had wanted for so long?

Did you help your friends find what they were looking for or were you a douche and keep the shinies from your them in order to profit for yourself =p

I FINALLY got my SPS, after monts of resisting ridiculous shop prices. I have multiples of my most used S ranks (Meteor Cannon, Shigga Desta, Song for Death). The only things I wanted that I dont have are a Blackbull and a Gur Bazga. I don't really care all that much though, since I only use Rifles on bosses and Song for Death is better than a Gur Bazga. I also have a bunch of crap I cant use, so hopefully I can use the selling proceeds from that to get a Blackbull or Gur Bazga.

Meh I failed a halarod that I found and traded for another halarod board. I was in it looking for force/protranser rares, which I didn't get for the most part. Instead I ran off with most non double saber figunner rares. More 2 headed ragnus boards then I care to count...a crimson....and the yohmei twin daggers. Never saw a crea doubles drop or a ruccar. I did see a sweet death but I didn't get it. As for the PT rares....I never saw a rare weapon drop on any of my moatoob runs or on nuedaiz either.

I got....stuff...but as for what I was looking for? No, not really. Still I'll be damned if those S ranks go to waste...I wanted S ranks I got 'em. Just not the ones I wanted. =

I managed to find an Uransara board, so I'm happy. Of course, I would've loved to find a Har / Quick or even a Me / Quick, but I never even saw one drop. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif Tesbra and Gaozoran Rod boards would've been nice, too, but I never saw any of those, either.

I did manage to get boards for Baji-senba and Orpa-senba. It's about time to replace my worn out Yamata-senba, so I plan on synthing both of these after we receive our reward period and I've completed my armor partner machine. (I'll be using the discounted clothing prices to buy tons of CAST Yukatas to feed her. Nine stars and they'll only be 2500 Meseta each. Not too bad of a deal, yeah?)

My original goal was to get an elemental set of Crea Doubles, only to find that their drop rates were basically the same as if I were in a normal LL mission. -_- So I guess in that respect I didn't quite find everything. But what I did find I will definitely put to good use, through my alt characters, or by trading/selling.

I got massively spoiled during 1up, as I believe everyone in my party did as well.

My main goal was to find har/quick, never got it, but saw it drop several times and ended up trading for it.

Then the finds: I found a [b] blackbull my first night playing the event^^. SPS, Halarods, Ragnuses, stormlines and Meteor cannons from parum. Orpa's and Baji's from neu (no weaps ><). dubs, rucars, muzzlefever, 2xhard / HP, and Hard / Stamina in GC. Tried doing a solo run there and the first pannon dropped another crea dubs (gave to friend that gave me a gao rod board...it felt too dirty). Moa-found mugunruks, lefbas, and bazgas.

Traded a lot of stuff around. Ended up getting a [b] huge cutter, [b]deva, [b]fuka, [b] desta and a bunch of other stuff I was missing from the event. I am overall extremely happy with the way things went, I'm just missing those rare mats for the gao rod and rucars now...but they can wait. Had a great time doing this.

All in all quite a successful event for myself,

Goin into it i already had my 2 Headed ragnuses, Crimson, Deva-Zashi and Sweet Death, so i hoped for more

Managed to get: Crimson boards x10+, 2 Headed ragnus boards x10+, Hyper Viper Board, Crea Doubles board, Rucar board x3, Halrod board x5, Baji-Senba board x6, Gizahi-Zashi Board x2, Sweet Death board x6, Viper board x2, Shigga Desta board, giga/bullet save x2, Stormline Board

Quite successful for myself really, downpoints had to be the horrible amount of people booting at the bonus stages (you know who you are) who i hope got NOTHING of value, watching my sweet little 8th Ascension fail miserably time after time on so many S-Rank boards, downpoints aside the Highlights for me were pulling out Vahra Claws at 34% light (Vahras have not much to do with this event but my MAG seems to be able to pull out vahras every time though she only has a 39% chance, 8 in a row, keep them coming) Getting 2 of the Sweet Deaths to 44% Dark (and selling them for 22Mil, yeah you read that right 22MIL) and 50% Light, the Crea doubles in purple (PURPLE POWER!) and of course the 20%light Rucars, oh yeah, happy days

XenithFlare- I feel your pain, my list of attanied S ranks rivals yours for shortest ever. I kept hearing stories about how people were getting AT LEAST one S rank per run and sometimes three. My average was about 1 out of every 9 runs. Thats not saying who the S ranks go to mind you, just that in about 9 runs one S rank board would drop. And it was all figunner equipment too...which is one of my least used classes.

Heh I remember on the first day of the cup my first EX mission yeilded two twin ragnus boards that went to me. Given that I had been told all 10*s drop like candy I gave away the other board to a player who had also wanted it. I soon found out how hard those things are to drop. x| Not that I didn't get enough to make a full platte of fire weapons....yuck.

It was pretty decent, I was a low level of 45 when it started so I got 31 levels bringing me to 76, i would call it a success.

I'm mostly satisfied. I am only disappointed in not finding enough Gaozoran rods mats, and not enough other things I can trade from some more. Now they are going to skyrocket in price even more than they already are.

(Why the hell does one rod take 7 to make, all the other Creature weapons have reasonable requirements)

I made it to the final boxes on every run and I didn't get 1 single gun board. Lots of boards I can't use like Bil De Ax, Halarods, few Magic Wands, Two Headed Sabers, ect.. you get the point...

All i wanted from the event is to walk out with a full pallet of S rank weapons, which i did barely. but out of everything i wanted a made gaozoran staff,which i found difficult because of the material. thats what i wanted the most but did not get.

All four got Songs for Death (grenade launcher) and Rappy Suits.

Aragan couldn't complete B. Couldn't find the parties for it.

However, as far as levels go ...

F Gattaca went from 92 to 100.
Raul DiUragano went from 45 to 71.
Aragan went from 22 to 35.
And the joke alt went from 14 to 19.

As far as Aragan and the joke alt goes, I wish I could have leveled them more, but ... I kept falling asleep. I could have had some extra time if I didn't keep DOING that. Aragan is still a long ways off from donning the Rabol Rappy armor, which takes 93 DFP (he has 61 DFP).

Didn't get the rares I really wanted (damn you Muzzlefever!!), got some I had on the bottom of my wish list, and a lot I didn't really even think about. Did get pretty much all the Halloween-specific goodies.

Got over 600+ screenshots of Clyez Linear Line's pristine form, as seen in the VR mission, for use in CAST Away!, and also managed to get a handful of people who were available for Floader riding pics.

I'm gonna miss the 1-UP Cup--the rares, the EXP boost, and most importantly, the Floaders. Despite being promised vehicles in ads for the game, PSU and AoI do not use them online (and the Floader hoverbikes and Striker hovertanks are only used once each in PSU's Story Mode, along with Lungas, a sort of choboco/pecopeco analogue). I really wish there were permanent Floader racing missions and the like.

Got all my feather rewards. Got a Giga/Bullet. Used several mil to gather everything I needed to synth a Carriguine Rucar when AoI and synth boost reward hits. Got a Halarod boarc for alt, along with several two headed Ragnus boards, and a Vahra claw board. Main is now lvl 80 as oppose to stuck in the 70s.

All in all, I say it was good times.

Before I read this thread I thought I was real hard done by. I mean the amount of stuff that passed me was a joke(7 Har/Quicks... got the 8th), 4 Crea Dubs(got 1), xx Sweet Deaths(I picked up TWO on the same ex mission), and once my inventory was full and I skipped a Mugungruc(I emptied there and then and got one the same bonus at the last minute). Speaking of Mugungrucs(sp.) this was/is the only rare(other than the blackheart saber and a few other FF rares) that I really wanted for my main. I got 3, failed 1 and synthed 1 at 10% and sold it cheap in disgust.

I got about 12 2-HR's, 14 Crimsons(8 on the same day), 4 Gizaha's, 4 Bills, 2 Metoer(failed 1), 1 Shigga, and like 4 Uransaras at the VERY last minute(they were passing me so much it was a joke)... I wanted that wand for me FT as I spent all of the last 3 luck week hunting it to only come away with a Deva-Zashi(why do I always get FiG weps?), 1 Crea Dub(see), Rucar, 3 Tero/Guard, oh yeah the har/quick, sleep/resist, 4 Orpa's(waiting), stormlines i gave away, 3 baji's(1 failed already... 56 hours lol), only 2 Lebfas(synthed one 20% dark) and a few other bits I cant remember(xx morbinia's, 2 Bill De Horn's, Rabol Rappy[B]'s, magical wands(20+) gave most them away).... yep, a LOAD of synth mats.

It MAY seem I got a lot, and it is but believe me if I got even 1 in 6 of what dropped the list would be way longer. I was also mostly sick for the last week of the cup but got a few runs in. I really enjoyed it but believe me my eyes are WIDE open to the greed on this game, its bloody awful. I met so really cool people(I can count on one hand) but it seems that people have short memorys when it comes to genoristy.... I cannot count the times when someone in a team would get like 2/3 of the same drops in a set of runs whilst I and others got bugger all... I mean how many har/quicks do ppl need? (espeically when they dont even have techers...). In any case I'm sure some people know what I mean... and there are real good people out there but not many.

What did I not get what I wanted? Hmmm, main thing would be Orpa/Guard or any Orpa unit I saw several drop and no cigar. I would have liked a Gazoran rod[B] or even more mats, I would have also liked a Sweet Death just becuase I used to do Mad Beasts's s2 A LOT and in 100's of runs never saw ONE drop, I would have liked more Mugungrucs and more morbinia's to make my axe's. Would have been nice to see an Uber rare drop(dunno like BH saber or Dulk Senba) as it is, I hardly saw anything beyond a few uransara's and one gizaha(that sort of thing) drop in missions.
