Ever since Finding my Degahna Cannon Board, and failing it, I have done

40 more runs Of Grove of Fanatics S
10 Runs of Grove of Fanatics S2

I havent found another board yet, and and I refuse to stop until I have one again.

I am also saving up meseta, and have about 4.1 million so far.

good luck on the synth. the d-cannon is an awesome weapon and a hard drop -unless you do forrest infiltration. never hesitate on these kinda drops as either it will fail or succeed good luck and they usually come out

If you wanna be technical; you'd have to grind it 3 times to be on-par with the Meteor Cannon. The Meteor Cannoc will always have more PP, but less power, even less than a Thunder Cannon. A Degahna Cannon 9/10 is just as powerful as a Meteor Cannon 8/10.

But whatever. I think the Needle Cannon looks better than both of them.

Laser cannons will recieve quite a boost in AoI. Higher modifiers as well as SE3 at the higher levels.

Just give up on it and stick with a Meteor Cannon. They're more powerful in the end. And don't even try S2 at your level. If you really want it, stick with the S missions.

Just do forest infiltration for the board as that mission is a cakewalk.The M, cannon still go's pew pew . forest infiltration is quick and easy as far as runs and time wise.s2 grove is a major hassle for most ppl and not worth it if you are looking for d-cannon

I usually beat the mission in about 22-28 minutes each

Don't expect to get another one soon. After I got my Blackbull board at True Darkness S (which took me 3½ hours to get), I haven't been able to find another one while doing over 10 hours worth of runs.

blackbulls are iffy .but as far as d-cannon hunting the grove can be fiendish as compared to the easier more spammable forest infiltration.i will put it this way i had the second one on 360 and it took a lot of runs to find.The box set at the grove has the propensity to drop other things besides the d-cannon in the same box, whereas forest infiltration will only drop 1 or 2 other things there. when i recommend f.i. it's because it's simpler than getting 15 har-senba or nafri-senba boards

about 12 boxes but the board only drops out of one box at either mission. I usually recommend F.I. bcuz ppl hate ozunas. I prefer the grove myself but dependent on your class F.I. is easier.

Not to drop a downer on this, but I used to search for that cannon. I did somewhere in excess of 200 runs looking for it, across Forest Infiltration and Grove.

I never even found the synth part, let alone the board.

Get saving, it's easier to just grind the meseta and buy this weapon from someone who got lucky.

LOL! It's not extremely rare. In fact, the only reason that it is "rare" is because people are too lazy to look for the damn thing. Just like the Zanshu-Misaki, the Hoshi-Kikami, and the Rikauteri. They wouldn't be so "rare" if people would get off their asses from HSM or Seabed and actually look for them. I still can't believe the 8* armor, Rikau-senba, is actually worth around 10 mil. Blows my mind...

my friend hunted for a 11* bow for 2 months and got no S rank at all from groove.

UPDATE: My old-as-hell PSU disc has had enough of Grove runs, apparently, WHenever I load up the Shikon Tanze Route (where grove is) My game has a read error.

This sucks.. However:

INSTANT UPDATE: I bought a new psu disc, this one doesnt have the "rings of saturn" that my old one does. Horray Newness!

The grove is an awesome mission and with the right things it go's by really quickly. i myself actually do that run almost daily.it's just kinda stingy on drops but when you get what you want nothing beats the fact that you got something rare.

LOL. Ask anyone who is a serious laser cannon fan which cannon they would want. And I bet the majority would say the Needle Cannon. And since it's harder to get a decent grind thanks to the changes, there's no reason why you should have the audacity to say that a Degahna 5/5 is better than a Needle Cannon. I've seen far less Degahna Cannons nowadays compared to Needle Cannons, and that's saying a lot.
