Beast acrotecher...Good?

Im a level 80 beast wanting to go acrotecher, I saw the video on the melee techer and thought it would work well. Some people online tell me it wouldn't. Help.

Not my cup of tea, but it can be pulled off. I just don't think you'll see that much more damage than using some other race. The atp modifier isn't THAT drastic.

I'd rather pick WT for my beast, based on stats of the two classes alone. Plus, the skills can only go to LV20 on AT (right?), and that seems ridiculously incomplete to me. Just play how you like. I say this cause im a newman all-classer http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif and with good skill and decent arsenal any race can succeed at any class gimped in one way or another.
I say go for it. beast=ATP..all you need to do is buff yourself and if it comes down to using techs.Use high TP mod. ones like foie/diga. AT's Decent ATA modifier will supply you with some accuracy fi you care about that aspect.

With the support and tech selection, they can do fine. Hell I'm gonna do a newman forte fighter, and thus is less of an issue than that would be. So, it would be good, all the buff and the stats as they are.

They will definitely be better than a Cast AT, but if you're only doing it for Melee, don't even bother. I'd put them higher if AT had lv30 skill and bullets, but low modifiers won't give them much of an advantage. Once I considered it until I found out the lv20 limit of bullets and skill for them, that pretty much killed my idea for a beast 4th slot.

I'm not really understanding your question, Acrotecher is designed to be a full support class. The only way you can fail at a full support job is if you don't doing to any healing. So as long as you're not Nanoblasting all the time a Beast can do as well as a Newman Acrotecher. Even though their cures will be slightly less, I can't imagine any class besides Casts struggling to get a cure above 75% with that job. Beasts and Newman AT damage won't be anything to call home about, but I'd imagine that Beast HP and DFP would be an asset to the support role.

If you were planning on physically meleeing a lot with Acrotecher, you'd probably be better off going Wartecher instead.

Low modifiers? Please don't say the PAs; for single handed PAs the modifier is only about 10%, not anything to cry about. level 20 bullets still have good modifiers, especially for a class that isn't designed to use guns often.

So tell me a CAST AT can't cure you fully? CAST and Beast TP went from 30%-40%, and Resta just became even more broken. Even a CAST GT can provide sufficient heals now.

In all the videos I've seen of AT, they spend a lot of time meleeing.

That's it basically. That Tier 4 Buffs/Heals alone will make you more valuable than WT and maybe some FTs too.
