I am having seconds thoughts about my new purchase. I am planning to sell my xbox console to purchase a gamecube for pso + a broadband adapter. Most people tell me to buy both but I do not have the cash to do so. Sooo do you guys think I should wait the 1-5 month period for PSO to come out on xbox with xbl and such. Or sell my Xbox, get a gamecube, and sell it and buy back xbox when PSO comes out for xbox. No matter, what I am selling my gamecube back when it comes out for xbox because I have too many friends waiting to play it on xbox. Thanks

Only if you really think it's worth doing..

I mean, a $200 Xbox, for a $150 GC and PSO. You'll also need a BBA/Modem adapter if you'd like to play it Online. I mean, 50% of the real game is online..

I am an owner of Xbox and GC.. I love them both.. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
Would you regret it in the futurE?

just wait, especially if your only gonna sell the GC anyway....

Besides, you'll only get 1/3 the asking price for the X Box

the GC version actually turns out the be costlier (that a word??) assuming that there will be NO additional online fees for xbox

GC=
gamecube($150)+PSO($50)+BBA($40)+HL Fee($107/year)+keyboard($60 or more)=

$407 for the first year http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

XBOX=
xbox($200)+PSO($40)+Xbox Live(50/year)=

$290 for the first year

Thats about a $120 difference for the first year. But its all up what you prefer, voice chat or keyboard chat. Unofficially, the US version comes with the USB adapter for a USB keyboard

So let me get this straight. You already have the GC and you just bought the X-Box? I'm kinda slow today so take pitty on me.
If you have the GC then don't buy the X-Box uless:
A: You will play with your friends all the time.
B: Really enjoy other games on the X-Box.
C: I don't know, a third option just sounded good.

Whatever, I think that both game systems will rock with regards to PsO. They both have ups and downs. It's kinda your choice to look for those and then decide which fits your situation better.
(Did that make sence?)

Selling anything back to a store after you opened it will always result in a loss. Unless by selling back you meant return unopened and unused with a receipt and will get your full asking price back. That's a different ball of wax.

Since you said you are going to get the Xbox anyhow, save your money. You will work so hard to build up a character on GC just to loose it when you sell it back. And when you sell it back you will not get all your money back anyhow. So it will cost you more in the long run.

Now if you weren't going to insist on getting the Xbox I'd say stick with the Game Cube because it OwNz. It's cheaper and it doesn't take up an ungodly amount of space. I also think there are more fun games on the GC then there are on the Xbox.
