Not anymore. (Either that, or people have found ways to compress the video files.)

That's why REALLY HIGH quality videos on there run for several minutes longer than the actual video duration. (Ex: 1:30 min high quality vids are listed as 9:38, or something like that, but they don't really run that long.)

Youtube has a feature now that allows you to upload larger files (up to 1gig) but it takes longer to process. I think its still 10mins.

I do my hosting through Dreamhost.

I couldn't be happier with them.

If i did Mov, i'd send this thing through Final Cut Pro...but i don't have Mac. mpeg is extremely out of date and would take a file size of like 600 megs to be of good quality. WMV, don't get me started. granted Divx aint the best thing in the world either but i wanted to make something where the worst you'd have to do is download a codec, not compile a codec.

In the age of youtube, quality no longer matters.

And, like I said before, it seems to be a problem with the file, not the Divx player, all of my other Divx movies work perfectly.

Aside from the pricing issue of $69/month vs $130/yr, 2 requests within a minute to chat with a live rep tells me they're desparate and may not be around...

Yeah, but 130/yr is for a shared server. There's a vast difference.

And the live chat thing is some annoying script that they put in that loads on any sales-related page other than the front page. I told someone in marketing that it's too pushy. *shrug*

It was cool. I still prefer PSO, and seeing the PSU forest level, made me wish that Sega was still supporting PSO in some other format, that wasn't BB or Xbox's eternal winter.

awesome video - I cant wait to play in Rozenom city! Im also coveting the spaceship looking Shadoog now. The PSO level is sweet, but also make PSUs weapons seem so dinky compared to PSOs ... I also have made that comparison about the stage. If I had to describe it with other games, I'd have to say its the Doom 2 version of Wolfenstine 3d.

I suppose I fit the bill. Only been playing for a few weeks, and before that I hadn't hit up PS since PSIV. It makes me froth at the mouth for AoI even more. It's so hard to wait and even base PSU doesn't help as I plan on switching from 360 to PC when AoI discs come out.

Also, it makes me regret that I was too busy playing "real MMOs" back in the day to ever find out about PSO.

The Ragol scene starts with the Episode 1 introduction video. I then move on to the Episode 4 introduction video. The only thing I changed in those was I adjusted the noise levels on the video to make it look like it was a signal that was greatly degraded as it traveled through space. (After all, we really don't know how far Gurhal and Ragol are apart.) As for it being Canonical...there are small hints in PSU Episode III maybe...

I thought thats what you were trying to do when I watched it. That video was amazing. Now I finally know how to use the whole just attack and just counter system. And the part showing the PSO stuff was really cool.
The only thing I didnt like, and this is very small, but when you looked around in a circle with the first person camra you did it a little fast (just a little) and it made me dizzy.

thought that might have been why. Great video. I noticed that in the ragol forest part there are scenes of underground caves. I like how there not just bringing back the old PSO stuff but it looks like there expanding it a bit also. I cant wait to see how they plan on delivering the ragol stuff to PSU. (new planet?, VR area?, etc)
