The Newman and Human race don't need any special ability, their ability comes right when they are created which is to look pretty. Now I can understand Humans getting a race only S rank weapon like a sword. Seeing that most races that too have a race only weapon is based off their starter equipment.

Newmans start off with a teching weapon and get a Halarod. Beast start out with knuckles and their race only S rank is Gudda Hon. CAST start out with a rifle, their race only weapon is the Killer Elite. Probably the Humans S rank sword can make use of the extra gauge eh?
