Fanfic research: Episode II questions

Hello all. Just completed my firsdt fiction not long ago and now am about to start the second. However as Episode II is yet to arrive in the UK I have very little knowledge of the plot or background of this game.

Information on the locations and plot would be useful as well as a suggestion of a commonly available rare weapon suitable for a hunter and some decent armour.

You basically are placed in a training course at the beginning and when you pass it, are sent to Gal De Val island, where the Lab (kinda like the CIA) has received a distress cal from Heathcliff Flowen, someone who was presumed dead a long time ago.

As for weapons, Last Survivors are common in Hard for Skylys.
