Personally, I upgraded my computer a few months ago for AoI. My old computer didn't do what I wanted it to do while playing game and video editing etc., but now I have no complains except I have to use Frameskip 1 with Fraps to record. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

As for Xbox...well I might not be getting AoI anytime soon. >< My brother has been an ass about the HD space and I doubt he will let me take up that type of space to play an online game. I might end up buying a new 360 for Christmas just to end the begging.

Anyway, will you be upgrading for AoI?

Well, I upgraded my PC a while back. Was it necessarily for AotI? No - it was more for UT3.

Plus side is that I can play at absolutely max settings and run FRAPS at the same time now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Well, I made my desktop for playing PSU when it first came out, and since then I've gotten a new laptop which beats it in almost every area. I think I'm set (and if I felt like it there's always the PS2 o.o).

Err, well not too long ago my old 360 got the red lights, and I have a new one now (elite), so I'm much more confident that it will last me a long time.

No. I received my computer some two years ago as a gift. The people buying it for me... didn't really consider that I would need a decent graphics card. So I have to play PSU on the lowest settings, Window Mode, with frameskip three. I hate it. =/

I already have a very good PC to run PSU on. No worries about AOTI http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
Now to figure out how to let 2 PSU's run at once....

I'll be fdisking for AoI, since I'm pushing for the best performance, but I'll wait on actually upgrading until this Christmas. Getting an Athlon FX-57, 2 more gigs of RAM, 3 750GB harddrives, 700W power supply, and possibly a new monitor.

Pretty much 2 computers. Gameguard makes it so that you can't run two installations at the same time.

I think thats all I'm aloud to say. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

I just built my desktop 3 months ago in order to play PSU at higher settings than my laptop. (well that and for Crysis) I am set to go now, all settings maxed with 16x AF.

I just want a widescreen resolution in AoI D:

Right now my PSU screen takes up about 2/3 of my screen. Just enough on the side to see my Ventrilo window, but I'd rather play full screen.

I currently have a 19" LCD but would like to get a larger one, other then that my PC can handle AOI

So how exactly do i add ram to my PS2?

In any case, my comp runs psu perfectly, so i have no problem playing this or the expansion, despite being over *gasp* a year old *gasp*.

I can run PSU fullscreen at max settings without a hint of lag, so I don't think there's an immediate need for an upgrade. I built this machine about a year ago.

I do, however, have my eyes on the 8800GT or GTX, just waiting for a price drop because I can't quite afford to have that interfere with college tuition right now.
